The Jimi Hendrix Concerts Reviews:
THE BEST LIVE HENDRIX ALBUM 5 Star Review
2008-02-24 - You will never hear another album like this. Get a copy while you can.
I don't live today, Red house you can hear the Buddy Guy Influence, Stone Free faster paced version, Little Wing, Bleeding Heart, Hear my train a comin and Voodoo chile slight return are the best live versions ever heard. I bought this album when it first came out and wore it out, I have the CD now and am hoe that one day the Hendrix estate will release this gem again

"Are you experienced' is the best live Jimi cut ever! 5 Star Review
2007-11-21 - I have been a Jimi fan for over 20 years, this CD is by far the best live Jimi CD I've ever heard and I've tried them all. "Are you Experienced" from 1968 at Winterland is the all-time best live track I've ever heard by Jimi, and there are 8 or 9 other classic cuts on this CD, all extended and definitive. I looked for this CD for years after I lost the cassette as it's out of print and when I bought it here on Amazon for big $$$ I've never regretted it one day and will always cherish it!

Red House 5 Star Review
2007-04-12 -
Have to agree about Red House.

It is a jaw dropping performance. Best I've ever heard from Hendrix, and that's saying a lot.

I heard the song this morning, and was looking for any info on this particular version.

I am surprised that it's not more popular than it is.

Seek it out, Hendrix fans....you will not be disappointed.

Hendrix: what more needs to be said? 5 Star Review
2006-10-25 - My favorite track from this collection is "Are You Experienced?" The only flaw on it was when he flubbed the words of the last verse. Hendrix probably forgot it because he'd just finished playing a guitar solo that could have destroyed the whole world.

The Jimi Hendrix Concerts 5 Star Review
2006-06-14 - If you truly want to know the Blues-influenced Jimi Hendrix, then you must buy this album. This is raw Hendrix at its very best. I bought the 11 track cassette in 1982 and wore it out.
I bought another cassette and wore it out. My third cassette is getting tired so I bought the 1989 CD version, which also includes a 12th track of Foxey Lady. "Stone-free" is beautifully relentless Hendrix. "Hear My Train a Coming" on this album is Hendrix's best live cut. "I Don't Live Today" has sensationally crazy intentional feedback. And listen to the Humpback Whales at the beginning of "Are You Experienced".
Every track on the Album makes you feel that Jimi was playing his A-game. MUST BUY !!!!!!!!!!!
