While best used as a sampler to direct new listeners to the immortal Are You Experienced, Electric Ladyland, and so on, the record does hang together as a listen. Its blend of Hendrix-the-rocker and Jimi-the-underrated-soul-man is suggestive, painting a picture of a multifaceted genius and transcending its plainly mercenary origins. 2009-06-10 - This CD is an Excellent source for Jimi Hendrix. If you are a newcomer to Hendrix, this is a good place to start.
Total Package
2009-01-08 - I could go on and on, but this is what you need to know - Total Hendrix Package. If you are looking for a "best of" this is the one. It's classic hit after classic hit featuring Jimi's best all in one place. You even get some unexpected treats like "Burning Of The Midnight Lamp" and "Gypsy Eyes". Then, to cap it off, you get two classic Hendrix live performances. This is a must have for any complete CD collection.

Wonderful Album
2008-05-09 - I love this collection. The best of Jimi in a concise package with some not overly popular songs (ie manic depression.) Only gripe is that fast food commercials have ruined it for me. Everytime I listen to it I have visions of Whoppers floating in the air. Sigh...I guess that's what happens when coporatations sell your image postumately.
You'll Just End Up Buying the Albums...Trust Me 
2008-02-02 - I used to own this album, but I traded it away. Why? Because Jimi is too talented for a compilation! This one was good enough to convince me that I need to invest in his real albums.
A great set of Hendrix tunes,as good as it gets
2007-08-26 - I bought it for the cover,so I could get a picture T-Shirt made of it's cover,but the CD itself is awesome. I have all these songs on seperate CD's,but this is one of those purchases that is worth the package deal.
IF you are new to Hendrix talent,get this CD!
