Don't Cha Wanna Ride Track Listing:
1. Don’T Cha Wanna Ride
2. Right Time (From The Us Gap Advert)
Editorial Review:
Title track backed with 'The Right Time', the track Joss performed on the US Gap commercial. A must for any fan of Joss. 'Don't Cha Wanna Ride' is one of the standout tracks from Joss's double platinum album Mind Body & Soul. It is what she does best: up tempo, summery, rhythmic pop and once again showcases that voice. It is set to be one of Joss's biggest radio hits. Relentless. 2005.
Don't Cha Wanna Ride Reviews:
For those of you who buy singles...
2006-06-28 - 1. Don't Cha Wanna Ride...3 1/2 stars.
It's upbeat demeanor is nice but the lyrics are kinda crazy, if not funny.
2. Right Time...4 stars.
This song is pretty good. Joss exercises her vocals here nicely.
All in all, 4 stars. I think this is an okay purchase but you might as well get a whole album for the better price. Like it's been said, Right Time is a good song but not quite worth the whole price.
A great song for anyone who has been passed by...
2006-02-06 - This song has great lyrics, great music, and with the sexiest soul siren singing it, makes it perfect! And it also includes the much loved song from her GAP commercial, I know I loved it. A must have for any Joss Stone fan!
"Don't cha wanna ride'
2005-08-31 - No, I don't. I want some of your money from your record sales, Joss. I'm broke as Hell. I'm sorry but I'm just not felling this song. Her vocals are great but the lyrics are not. It's like she's comparing a car to a night of hot, passionate sex. It's one thing to have hot, passionate sex in a car but to compare the car to hot, passionate sex? Now, that's just strange. I can't look at a car and say, "I'ma f@@@ Him".
