'98 Live Meltdown Reviews:
Ripper can sing!
2000-01-23 - the new priest album "98 live meltdown" is brilliant to say the least! After the jugulator album I was a little dissapointed at Rippers abbility in such a high profile band as priest, but he is very capable and redeemed himself completely. Screeching vocals from his part and terifying riffs from K.K and Glen make for the perfect combination. The audience participation is awesome, if you turn it loud enough you could swear that you are there.Guitars are just a little thin at times, but that well blame on the technicians and producers. The new solo in breaking the law is tremendous and then there is also the slow version of diamonds and rust..If there was ever a man who could sing it's the ripper. Rob's days are numbered and not really missed, and if there was ever 2 guitarist's who understood each other completely and knew each others capability it is the riff masters Glenn & k.k. Tremendous Album from beginning to end. GET IT NOW!
