Editorial Review:
Comic wizard Bill Murray (CRADLE WILL ROCK, THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS) teams up with Academy Award(R)-winner Richard Dreyfuss teams up with (Best Actor, 1978, THE GOODBYE GIRL) in an outrageously wild comedy that's sure to drive you off the deep end! Murray plays Bob Wiley, a troubled but lovable therapy patient who fears everything! After seeking help from noted psychiatrist Dr. Leo Marvin (Dreyfuss), Bob feels revived. But when the good doctor skips town to go on a quiet family vacation, Bob, afraid of being alone, follows -- showing up unexpectedly at the therapist's lakeside retreat. That's when the fun really begins! Bob innocently becomes the houseguest who just won't leave -- endearing himself to the other family members ... and, in the end, driving the stressed-out shrink absolutely crazy!
What About Bob? Reviews:
Classic
2009-10-27 - Classic comedy and genius that are Richard Dreyfus and Bill Murray. The movie brings you right in to feel as if you're a part of the chaos! I loved it as a kid and I love it just the same as an adult! I highly recommend...
awesome movie, would have been better if michael jordan directed it though.
2009-09-29 - I have a feeling that this movie could only get better if michael jordan from the chicago bulls had directed it.
Terrible Movie
2009-09-16 - Awful. Just awful. A friend came over with this DVD and subjected me to the torture of having to watch it. I guess I expect a comedy to be funny.
Extremely funny!
2009-09-12 - I enjoyed this movie very much with my family.
We have watched it over and over again.
Can't single anybody's performance as they were all terrific.
You won't get tired with it.
Other good family videos: Three Amigos,
Planes, trains and automobiles, Born in East LA, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,
Princess Bride, Sgt. Bilko, Capt. Ron, and Big Trouble in Little China.
Enjoy!
DVD
2009-08-10 - I ordered this for my husband. He loved it and so did I. It's so funny you can watch it more than once and it's funny every time. Had hunted for months for this DVD and was delighted to find it on Amazon. It took a little longer to get here, but was worth the wait. Yes, would order it again.
