Overall a great score 
2004-07-31 - I would recommend the score if you enjoyed the film, however, I think sometimes the music is creepier than it should have been. This film had a huge potential of having a great score, and I don't think it was fully reached. The most beautiful music is in "The Abbe and Madeleine" which I also think captures a lot of the themes of the film as well as "Dream of Madeleine." While the music works well in the movie, the soundtrack is a little hard to listen to at times. There are some twisted pieces in the music, but I guess that's true of the movie as well. Overall I'd still recommend it to fans of the movie.
superb soundtrack 
2001-01-20 - I read a review that said the soundtrack was creepy. It is not. It is gorgeous. "Zipadee-do-dah does not fit this film. The music has a slight undercurrent of mystery. It is excellent. I highly recommend it.
Quills soundtrack is mediocre at best 
2000-12-05 - This soundtrack plays pieces I do not recall ever hearing in the movie--and the music itself is very creepy sounding. Not at all what I had expected.
