2008-11-12 - This cd is not an album. It is little more than a single. There are three tracks on it, two of which are variants of the same work performed by Kate Winslet. The other is a choral number not by her, which frankly I don't see why it is even included. The general style of the music fits in well with works by Celine Dion, but this particular tune is a bit melancholy, so if you occasionally listen to songs that may make you cry, this qualifies. In addition to her acting skills, it appears Kate Winslet's talents include a lovely singing voice.

2005-01-26 - Amazing...such a talented actress AND singer! I agree 100%, Kate definitely should have sung "My Heart Will Go On" in "Titanic." It would have sounded much better than Celine Dion's version.
I never knew Kate had such a beautiful voice. She has everything...stunning looks, classic beauty, angelic voice, the best movies AND awesome acting talent!!! She is so special.

Generic, Mediocre Pop Music From Great Actress 
2004-05-01 - "What If" is an extremely generic pop ballad that was obviously penned specifically as mood music from a film. Winslet carries the song well enough, but the truth is her singing voice is ultimately extremely generic. She is neither a particularly skilled singer nor does her voice has a quality that would make it unique from countless tens of thousands of other female singers. The difference is, she is a stunningly talented actress who is afforded the opportunity to try the avenue of music. The song will no doubt appeal to fans of bland, harmless pop, and Winslet's voice is pretty if nothing else. However, some of those higher notes escape her and lyrically, it's about as exciting and original as a piece of toast.

2003-11-15 - In my opinion, Kate Winslet should've sung "My Heart Will Go On" !! She has a beautifully amazing voice!! She makes Celine Dion sound like an amateur! i've listened to her song over and over and over again because it's so BEE-YOO-TI-FUL!! She should've come out with another CD because this one ROCKS!!
Nothing's better than finding out one of your favorite actresses can become one of your favorite singers, too! I would highly recommend this CD to all, because "What If" is not only sung brilliantly, but the words are wonderful too!
Pop this CD into your hard-drive to watch the music video. It's really worth seeing!!!
Kate's Beautiful Singing Voice!
2003-08-12 - I first listened to this song the other day while looking up the little song that Kate Winslet had sung in "Heavenly Creatures." I have to say that Winslet is a multitalented person! This has to be the best song I have heard in a long time! I wish she would make at least one cd b/c she's soooo good! If you haven't heard this you have to get it! It's wonderful!
