After a mysterious year-long absence ex-gangster, SAM (Sung Kang, The Fast & The Furious 3) returns to Los Angeles determined to find redemption for his past. He soon becomes intertwined with his old mentor DON (Tom Bower, Die Hard 2), a retired gangster and VERA (Kelly Hu, X Men2, Scorpion King), the lover he abandoned. Sam is soon drawn back into the shadowy world he left behind where he now finds himself being hunted by a ruthless hit man, LEON (Russell Wong, Romeo Must Die) as he enters a world of impossible desires, loneliness and isolation. Can Sam undo his mistakes before losing all that he came back to save?

Solid movie 
2008-05-05 - I was drawn to this film as I am a fan of Kelly Hu's and Russell Wong and found a very pleasant surprise in the talents of Sung Kang . I was not familiar with the works of Sung Kang even though he had been in several movies that I had seen. I will be looking for him in the future. This is a gritty caricature study made on a small budget by a very talented writer director Chris Chan Lee who got fine performances from the entire cast. I look forward to the future works of both Sung Kang and Chris Chan Lee.

2008-04-21 - It is a stylish movie. I enjoyed this movie a lot because I am a big fan of Sung Kang's, the main character in this movie. You will enjoy the short film called 9:30 came as a bonus feature of this DVD.

2008-03-31 - I thought this movie was slow. I understand why screenwriters make characters make stupid decisions, so that they can explore the resulting mayhem, but I thought this main character would have been smart enough not to be so dumb. This film is not one iota as good as "Better Luck Tomorrow."
I was shocked years ago when I saw Russell Wong playing a character that had a long, classic, hair queue. In this film, Russell is a dyed blond and yes, it looks a hot mess! Clearly, they wanted him to imitate one of the villains in "Rush Hour 1." This film lacked subtitles of any language. I'm disappointed.
Unexpected
2008-03-29 - I was expecting this movie to be kind of fast-paced but shallow, since most of the actors in it are known more for action films. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Undoing is a much more sophisticated film, character-driven and emotional, with really strong acting performances and unique visual style. The plot is interesting, although not particularly new or innovative; in fact, the story is very much a throwback to classic noir films. But its enough to keep you compelled and engaged to see the story unfold. I really enjoyed this film.

2008-03-24 - I received my copy two days ago and I watched it last night! It was a wonderful movie. I love the cinematography and the way it was done. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did! I'm proud to own this movie and it definititely is a must add to your dvd library!
All the Sung Kang fans out there won't be disappointed!
