Description of A Few Good Men:
A U.S. soldier is dead, and military lawyers Lieutenant Daniel Kaffee and Lieutenant Commander JoAnne Galloway want to know who killed him. "You want the truth?" snaps Colonel Jessup (Jack Nicholson). "You can't handle the truth!" Astonishingly, Jack Nicholson's legendary performance as a military tough guy in A Few Good Men really amounts to a glorified cameo: he's only in a few scenes. But they're killer scenes, and the film has much more to offer. Tom Cruise (Kaffee) shines as a lazy lawyer who rises to the occasion, and Demi Moore (Galloway) gives a command performance. Kevin Bacon, Kiefer Sutherland, J.T. Walsh, and Cuba Gooding Jr. (of Jerry Maguire fame) round out the superb cast. Director Rob Reiner poses important questions about the rights of the powerful and the responsibilities of those just following orders in this classic courtroom drama. --Alan Smithee

    A Few Good Men Reviews:
You can't handle the truth!! 5 Star Review
2008-11-18 - One of the more famous movie lines ever and it comes from a great movie. It is a courtroom drama that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It focuses on marines who are accused of murder but Tom Cruise's character takes up the case (not necessarily by choice) and argues that they were just acting on orders that they could not disobey. This is one of Jack Nicholson's best roles and he is believable in that role. I have seen this so many times and I do not get bored of it at all.

This is an amazing movie and I highly recommend it. The acting is fantastic and it never once gets boring or slow.

The Best Law Movie EVER 5 Star Review
2008-11-15 - This movie was the best law movie I've EVER seen. With maybe the only exception being "The Last Samari" this has got to be Tom Cruise's best movie. The acting in it was superb! Jack Nicholson has that great creepy fear about him. If you even think law movies are o.k. then you HAVE to see this movie.

Can you handle the truth? Cracker(JACK) cast & script with Reiner at the top of his game 4 Star Review
2008-10-05 - Absorbing and crowd-pleasing adaptation of Aaron Sorkin's hit Broadway play from director Rob Reiner about two Marines charged with the murder of a fellow GI at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba with a tangled web of power and a green defense lawyer (excellently played by Cruise) assigned to follow the motions without a trial. Superb performances all around especially Nicholson in rare form as a colonel with one hell of a Napoleon complex. Trivial note: Bodison was a production assistant to Reiner from previous films; this is his acting debut.

DVD Movie Review 5 Star Review
2008-09-01 - Always a great story that would interest all ages--except for some salty language. Interesting to see the internal workings of the military minds.
