Apollo 13 Reviews: A Good rendition of a tragedy 2009-11-03 - I just watched this again the other night on HBO. This is one of those movies that they really did a good job with. When I watched this movie, it made me think about a argument I had not too long ago with a fellow worker about the moon landing. I still can't believe that there are people out there that believe we didn't go to the moon, and that it just happened in Hollywood. This movie really does justice to those men who piloted the Apollo 13 Mission. Tom Hanks and crew did a great job tipping their hats to these men. If you like movies that have great story, reality, people coming together is crisis, than you really should give Apollo 13 a look. I am glad I have this on DVD, so I can watch with my kids someday.
A great recount of America's history in space travel 2009-10-26 - This movie is very well done. A couple of minor scenes were created for dramatic effect but for the most part, it is historically true. I used this for my class when we studied the space race with Russia. The kids really enjoyed it and learned a lot.
Awesome Movie!!! 2009-10-08 - This is a must have for any Tom Hanks Fan. This movie has it all. Since I purchased it I have watched it at least a dozen times.
