Editorial Review:
It's a perfect summer, school is finished, and Neil's (Andrew Casey) parents have gone away on vacation. Life is sweet! But not for Neil. The girl of his dreams Lauren (Lauren Bigby), is dating Gary (James Murtagh) and to make matters worse, Lauren and Neil are friends...just good friends. How can he get the girl of his dreams alone to do what she does in his dreams? What Neil needs is a party! Hindering him along the way is a bullying older sister, a grumpy neighbor, and a divorcee who wants him to 'tend her garden.' And then there are his buddies, all of whom have their own girl troubles. Will Neil get his dream girl? Will his mates get any at all? A wacky English comedy, in the style of American Pie.
Neil's Party Reviews:
What a waste
2007-07-04 - there is only one funny part in this movie, it is a bad remax of American Pie which I loved. Don't waste your time or money.
great teen comedy
2006-09-21 - This was a lot better than I was expecting, considering I hadn't heard of it before. It was obviously made cheaply but its heart is in the right place. The characters were a good mix, the jokes were good, and by the end I really wanted to go back to the start and watch it again right away.
THE TITLE SAYS IT ALL
2006-09-13 - NEIL'S PARTY reveals a fresh cast of very talented players in high-impact party mode.
Neil's Party is a PARTY!!!!
2006-09-12 - Not since Rodney Dangerfield went "Back to School" have I had so much fun! Funny, sweet, and utterly original... I highly recommend this movie for YOUR next party. Whoo-hoo!
Great Movie!
2006-09-12 - This is a great funny movie outside of the mainstream. A good find definitely worth the money.
