AWESOME CD 4 Star Review
2005-09-21 - This album is one of my favorite kid rock CDS I have! The music in this album goes from rap to rock to jazz. The CD starts out with "Fred" which isn't a song at all. Then there's "Killin Brain Cells".Killin Brain Cells is a o.k. song that's pretty much rock with a little hip-hop.Next comes "Prodigal Son", which is a Kid
Rock classic. The old Prodigal Son is way better than the re-mix kid did on "History of Rock".This song contains lots of hard rock and guitars. Then there's "The Cramper" which is a slow rap song. Now this song isn't really one of the good songs. It starts out for 1:25 seconds with just guitars.Next comes "3 Sheets To The Wind" which is my 3rd favorite song.It is another Kid Rock classic. This song is nothing but fast, wild, old school rap.F**k U Blind is the next song which is very explcit. The song itself is good but the lyrics are really bad.Next is "Desporate Rado".This song is a rap about the wild west..... it's an o.k. song. Now comes my all time favorite: "Back From The Dead".This is about the coolest song on the CD!the lyrics rock, the beat rocks, and the whole song rocks! This is a mix between rock and old school hip-hop.Good Song. Now comes the most explicit song on the album..."Ba--s In Your Mouth".This song is the dumbest song on The Polyfuze Method. The lyris are horrible and the song itself is just plain weird. Now comes "Trippin With Dick Vitale" which a great old school rap song. The lyrics don't make much sense, but the song rocks."Odiepus Complex" is the next song. This song is pretty good. It's a mix of jazz and rock."Pancake Breakfast" is the song next. This song has some dirty language too, but it's a neat rock song. Then "Blow Me" is the following song. Now this song may sound explicit but it really isn't.There is nothing explicit in this song. This is a great rap song. Now comes "In So Deep". This song is nothing but hard rock. And now the last song is "U Don't Know Me" which is a good hip hop song. And those are every single song on the Polyfuze Method.Let me just say, good luck finding this cd.This is the 2nd rarest KID ROCK cd he's made.[...]

If It's Real, You'll Feel It 5 Star Review
2004-12-25 - You need to hear this album, but be warned it has explicit lyrics. Some song titles include "F*** YOU BLIND" and "BALLS IN YOUR MOUTH."

This recording is out of print, and sells used for abusrdly high prices on eBay and Amazon. I got my hands on it back in '93 as a promo tape, strange I think I had the 1996 "Revisited" remix back in '93, which sounds a lot better than the first edition.

You could compare this early Kid Rock opus to Beastie Boys "License to Ill," with the exception that there is just one vocalist, and Kid Rock doesn't shout or whine as much as Beasties. There's also a sick sense of humor present on POLYFUZE which is lacked by the Beasties. Some online reviews dismiss PolyFuze Method, but the prevailing sale price of $75-125 speaks volumes. Maybe KidRock has not re-released this material because he admits to "Trippin on Acid with Dick Vitale." The lyrics overall are pretty sophomoric.

I always loved this album, and now that Kid Rock is rich, famous, watered down for the masses and all washed up, it's amusing to recall how nobody wanted to listen to this stuff back in the day when Kid Rock was just another very dubious white boy rapper nobody.
