Another unexpected bright spot from the dark ages of Motown 
2009-06-29 - Despite its numerous and obvious homages to the legendary Jimi Hendrix, this is definitely not something to be called "Hendrix for the 90s." What it actually is is a beautifully-textured and uncommonly (for that time) fresh-sounding soul album. Best for the Minnie Riperton-ish "Living For You," but solid all the way, with no worthless selections.
