Editorial Review:
Their direction is clear-cut and straightforward, the ingredients have been selected with great care and even sleeve artwork, band name and song title don’t allow any other conclusion: Messiah’s Kiss specialize in traditional heavy metal in a very contemporary sonic outfit. Metal, the new album by the band from Dinslaken, Germany, presents 14 new tracks on the interface of double bass rhythms, straightforward guitar riffs and impressive vocals. "We grew up with the great metal bands of the Eighties, particularly Judas Priest and Iron Maiden from England or Accept from Germany", drummer Eckhard Ostra explains. "Our music doesn’t even begin to pick up on short-lived trends or colourless fads, we do what we love and what we definitely do best: classic heavy metal".

Metal Reviews:
this reminds me of Manowar 5 Star Review
2005-07-08 - Messiah's Kiss sounds like a combination of Accept, Judas Priest, and Manowar. it is a traditional metal band. forget that watery pop crap of today. pop this disc in and get ready for an adventure of magnificent proportions.

You need to listen to this CD a few times 4 Star Review
2004-07-24 - Although not as good as Prayer For The Dying, Metal do grow up on you after a while. The fast songs, like Uncaging Rebellion and Road To Exxtassy, are pretty good with catchy choruses. But I personally prefer the slower ones like Metal 'Til We Die and Holy Waters which I find a bit more intense. The only real downer on this CD is the song Tears In The Rain. It's way to commercial and really ruins the tempo and style of the album. But the song does not ruin the whole album. Messiah's Kiss is a great metal band and I think the singer Mike Tirelli as an awsome metal voice. So check out this band out; they're worth it.
