Paul Stanley - The King of Croon. 
2009-11-12 - Paul Stanley does what he does best here and makes the ladies swoon with his romantic ballads and Pop rockin' love songs. It's a pretty solid album overall but it could have used a little more of an edge to spice it up a bit more.

2009-10-28 - I've been lonely but I feel alright. If you were a member of Kiss, which one would you choose? You got another baby, hold him tight. Paul's the yin, Gene's the yang. You been pushin' and you won't get me tonight. 2 types of people. Monogamous and outrageous. Sweet or sweaty. I've been your lover, but I'm not your fool. Big star, Saturday night. Mutant Beatles. Boys or girls? You come a crawlin', but you're much too late. Classic heartbreak. You've got the key but babe I locked the gate. Tears of a clown. I tried to call you when you were not home. Even the face of the moon has a star in its eye. 2 sides to every 45. Nobody likes to spend the nights alone. That's why there's Halloween. I've been lonely but I feel alright.
the star shines solo
2009-10-12 - while there's no denying that ACE'S solo was the best. PAUL'S was a rock album much like the stuff he has done with KISS.there's not a clunker on here. and while KISS always catch flak. they are still the only band in history where all 4 members released solo albums on the same day.
Second best solo of the four
2009-10-01 - Contrary to very popular believe at the time, with fans wondering if the rumors were true of KISS' eventual break-up, the '78 solo albums were required by their record label Casablanca, with all four counting as two total albums out of a total of five.
Paul's was the most KISS-like, with a collection of heavy rockers and soft ballads. Peter's, in retrospect, was a fine R&B groove, although most fans at the time (including myself as a kid) were looking for a Black Diamond / pound the skins / scream it out fest. Ace's, the number one selling album, which debuted at # 26 and produced the hit single New York Groove which hit # 13, was a foot to the floor, all out heavy metal extravaganza, with some of the best riffs ever heard from KISS. Gene's basically was a mish-mash of Potato Salad. There were a few good songs on the album, but most fell to the bottom of the deep well of mediocrity.
Surprisingly, Paul's album was only the third best selling of the solos, slightly ahead of Peter's. Personally, I would rate this the second best of the four, as it is a pretty well rounded work from top to bottom, with a great selection of rockers inter-mixed with good ballads.
If your a KISS fan, you probably already have this. Would I recommend it to a friend, probably. But I would highly recommend Ace's album much more so than Paul's.
Paul Stanley Solo, just Paul Stanley solo. 
2009-08-02 - Well, many KISS fans will be angry with me, but for me, his solo album is not the best of the solos, too many regular Kiss composed, it is the most KISS style from the solos, but not enough for me to be the best, I preffer Gene and Ace solo albums, but it is very good, a great hard rock piece.
