You Must Be Love Reviews:
russian disco fan club
2007-09-29 - This Russian CD's are made by a "Disco Fan Club" in Russia. They are made with top of the line audio equipment and the sound quality is superb. I have not been able to get a hold of any of the Unidisc or Japanese copies for years, so this Russian import CD's are the next best thing.
This "Disco Fan Club" has also managed to save all of the original artwork from the original album covers and other various import releases. They have also added 12" versions and some A & B sides as bonus trakcs. I can't wait to see what else they are going to release next as they have some rare and very hard to find items on their list. All of this alec R. Costandinos so far are still my favorite disco Music ever and I hope to keep hearing them for years to come.
this is classic disco at it's best.
2007-09-22 - I am so glad that this Russian import CDs are available because I am not able to play any of my old vinyl anymore for obvious reasons. The sound quality of this Russian import is superior and I love hearing these classic songs while driving in my car.
BEWARE HOME MADE BOOTLEGG!
2007-09-11 - The only 4 legit Costandinos releases on CD (and near impossible to find) are "Greatest Hits", "Romeo & Juliet" (on Phillips Records out of Japan), "How Much How Much I Love You" (from Unidisc), and "I Found Love" (from Unidisc). All basicly impossible to find but do turn up from time to time. Alec himself in a mid 90s interview had said that none of his work from the disco era will ever be reissued.
These ones here that claim "limited edition" "russian" have been floating around for many years now...they are actualy made by some clown in California (an ebay user none the less). All he does is horrably drop the needle (a bad cartridge at that) on the record and record to CDR and adds nice artwork (which any computer savy person can make). Save yourself money and do it right yourself from your own vinyl copy...and clean it up via adobe or something. Don't buy into this crapola and make this clown rich!
