Editorial Review:
A collection of outstanding compositions and performances from six of Seattle's finest musicians. The material suggests influences from Miles Davis' mid-sixties quintet and early seventies experimentations to the modern sounds of John Scofield, Pat Metheny and trumpeter Tom Harrell. A very satisfying CD compositionsally, the quality of the writing alone makes this disc a must have.

1999-09-08 - i like this cd.i just listened to it for the first time.it was different from what i usually listen to but it kicks as.i balso heard this other band that sounded like korn.theyre called satanicblack and they kick ass check out theyre music on mp3 and soon to be coming to amazon.com.

1999-08-29 - I like the Russain guy that wrote the message "KoRN RULES." This ain't KoRN. That said, Steve Korn does indeed rule. A creative, innovative, and unique drummer with a great ear, I've had the opportunity to see Steve in person numerous times and have never ceased to be completely blown away by his chops. This CD is a great outing for Steve with top-notch Seattle talent to boot. Rob Davis (amazing!), Jim Knapp (also...), Dave Peterson, Marc Seales (one of the best piano players I know of), Jeff Johnson...these guys are absolutely burning! It's a shame these names aren't known on a more national basis, because these guys are as good as it comes. If you buy one jazz disc today, BUY THIS ONE. You have my personal guarantee!

1999-08-17 - Steve Korn is a real class act. His drumming technique never ceases to blow me away. I had the privilege of working with Steve at a music camp this summer, and he really is, just a great guy. Buy this C.D!
