Life Is Peachy Reviews:
Really Good, But Not As Good As Previous
2009-07-27 - This album has the best opening I have ever heard with "Twist". The song is just one of those things that automatically catches your attention. Jonathan doesn't say anything other than twist and the song isn't that long, but man is that song memorable (no wonder they still perform that song). Then "Chi" just fits so well as a follow up to the song. Overall, the album does sound like a continuation of their debut, but it just isn't as good. There are some great songs on here, famous and fan loved, but the lesser known songs on the album aren't as good as the lesser known songs on their debut album. With that being said, I still recommend buying this. There are some really great songs to be found here!
Shipping Charges
2009-01-07 - i thought it was lame that i got charged for shipping and handling for two items from the same seller. And i beleive its extra lame when the seller obviously took advantage of the situation and sent the two items together in one cd case. Are you that hard up for two dollars?
The most overrated band.
2008-12-07 - I use to like these guys back in highschool, I didn't know my true taste in music before and I thought anyband like korn who plays the guitar can be really talented and worthy of owning but I was wrong. This is one of the most pathetic excuse to be called real metal and these guys have no real musical talent at all, I mean head and munky's 3 cord guitar work was just flat out horrendous, sloppy distorted bass noise from fieldy, I guess davids drums were ok and jonathan davis man that guy was an atrocious singer and a complete winer who should seek therapy. All their older albums are like the same garbage for miserable teens and I don't know too much about their new stuff because I don't listen to them anymore. Im not telling anyone to stop listening to korn it's just my opinion but I hope one day you all will find much better taste in music like I did.
rock amania
2008-04-05 - this album was good the guitars played awsome in the songs good god and Addidis my favorite songs was good god and no place to hide and wicked and Addidis some songs i did'nt care for but this album was good it was'nt great like their other albums but it was preety good. Follow the leader and issues was the best thats until see you on the other side came out in 2005 a awsome album some songs were weird if you listen closley then in 2007 evolution came out and that was the best korn album out of all of them. but this album was good.
Yes it is.
2007-05-15 - This was almost a continuation of their debut. The sound is very similar, and just like the first, there is not a dull moment. Odd song structures and insane vocals are prevalent. "ADIDAS", "Wicked", "No Place to Hide", "Twist", "Chi", "Swallow" "Mr. Rogers", etc. This album rocks and is full of killer tracks. There are a lot of Korn haters out there, so if you are just becoming familiar with them, listen and make a decision for yourselves. Don't listen to the haters. They are usually people who don't have open minds about anything, or they are insecure and bashing others makes them feel special. Korn is one of the best heavy bands in recent years and one of the most original to come out in the 90s. Are they the most talented? NO. Plenty of other bands have better guitarists, drummers, bassists, and vocalists. But they are good at what they do, and have made a successful career of it. I don't care how talented someone is with their instrument: if they can't write a hook, people will forget them. Korn knows hooks.
