Editorial Review:
Korn came out of California in the early nineties and went on to become one of the most globally successful metal acts of their generation. They continue to play live to vast crowds and have record sales in the millions. This concert from Montreux in 2004 is their only performance at the festival to date. It was to be one of the last shows to feature the band's original line-up with guitarist Brian Welch leaving the group a few months later. Korn transforms the normally reserved Montreux crowd into seething, rocking mass with the largest (& probably the first!) mosh pit ever seen in the famous Stravinski Auditorium.

Korn: Live at Montreux [Blu-ray] Reviews:
Korn: Live at Montreux (Blu-ray)
2009-08-31 - Excellent Concert and Excellent 1080P Picture from Blu-ray. Must buy if Korn fan. Not all Concerts like this great on blu-ray or sound this good.
Awesome old school Korn
2009-01-12 - Overall it is a great concert, but it shows that it was one of Head's last shows, he felt very apathic. Anyway it's a great buy.
KORN BLURAY
2009-01-11 - This was a gift for my new son-in-law. he is into this type of music, and had placed it on his Christmas list. I did all his shopping on line and was able to purchase everything at a reasonable price and was send in time for gift giving.
Good release but is a little short
2008-12-08 - I read reviews on other sites slamming this release for having "only" 1080i video and it not looking very good. I have the Nine Inch Nails HD-DVD release which is said to still be the best HD concert release. Live At Montreux still looks very good even compared to the Nine Inch Nails release. The 1080i video is definitely an upgrade over the DVD release. Colors come across as bright and crisp despite most of the stage being covered in black.
The audio mixes are nice but a little lacking in the rear channels. Like most live content, the rear channels are reserved for screaming audience members. The concert was a little short though. Most Korn concerts clock in at at least 90 minutes. Their Ozzfest 2003 performance came in at 75 minutes when they opened for Ozzy Osbourne so I am surprised that this concert wasn't longer.
All-in-all this is a good release that Korn fans should pickup as it is one of the last concerts with Head still in the band.
Classic Korn concert, although not their best home video effort
2008-10-01 - Korn: Live At Montreux is a 2004 concert with the bands "classic" lineup including ex-guitarist "Head". The concert has songs from their earlier works from before "See You On The Other Side".
A good music Blu Ray, and the first one i own, although it's not 1080P, and is 1080i, it is still a crisp, clean picture with perfect sound (if you're into the music).
Well worth it for it's reasonable pricing and if you're more of a fan of Korn's earlier work.
