A must have for any Star Gate fans
2009-12-17 - This is the first Blu-ray movie I own that has true 7.1 sound and it's out of this world :-) I can finally shake the dust off the additional rear/side channel speakers that no other movie has used before...it's dissapointing that the technology's been around for so long and most DVD's and Blu-ray's don't bother to provide a 7.1 sound track.

The best gets better
2009-12-10 - Not much to say, Stargate is one of my favorite movies. I have dutifully bought each new DVD release, but I think this one will finally quell my thirst for better and better releases. This is as near perfect as I can imagine. Love It.

The beginning and ending of worlds, infinity and eternity
2009-12-05 - Dr. Daniel Jackson (James Spader of "Wolf" 1994 popularity) does the unthinkable by even suggesting that The Ancient Egyptian Civilization may have been influenced by outside influences, very outside influences. This runs off all inquiries to his theories.

But wait it looks like some one is interested in his cryptology abilities. Catherine Langford (Viveca Lindfors) had a secret that her daddy found years ago. Her secret will change the life of Daniel and Col. Jonathan 'Jack' O'Neil (Kurt Russell). Turns out that they will have a mission that will take them on a sojourn to the other end of the known universe. We go with them. What will we find and will we be able to bet back?

GREAT ENTERTAINMENT - I LOVED IT!
2009-11-28 - Just watched this 15th Anniversary Blu-Ray Edition and it was great! Originally I was going to give it a quick try to see if it plays but it engaged me to where I ended up watching the whole movie. The quality and definitely the story is better than the newer movies I have on Blu-Ray. I'm glad I bought this upgraded edition!

If you are having trouble with booting the movie
2009-11-26 - For those few people reporting trouble with booting the movie, do you have a 1GB memory card installed in your Blue Ray player? Some of these new movies require at least 1GB of additional memory in the BR player so that the movies can load. But not all BR players come with this extra memory.

This information is usually included in the BR disc info. although it's usually buried in the "fine print" somewhere.
