Editorial Review:
Fever was released on a wave of publicity as the lead single, "Can't Get You out of My Head," battled on the U.K. charts with the debut effort of Spice diva Victoria Beckham--and it won spectacularly. Kylie Minogue's sound has progressed again since the disco-inspired Light Years, plundering the retro style of post-disco electro from the late 1970s and showing what might have happened if Kraftwerk had produced Donna Summer or Chic. Unlike most pop albums, or indeed pop artists, Fever is geared toward high-energy dance rather than pedestrian "I love lovin' you" ballads. Aside from the aforementioned hit single, another standout is "Give It to Me," a great piece of dance pop that has everything from Britney-style wailings to Basement Jaxx funk wrapped up with a catchy and typically suggestive chorus. The closest Minogue gets to a gentler moment is at the very end with "Burning Up," a breezy guitar progression with a laid-back melody, but it doesn't last long as the need to start dancing again takes hold and Fever breaks into some electro funk, finishing on a definite high. --David Trueman

Fever Reviews:
Her best! 5 Star Review
2009-04-21 - This is truly her best work. It's very remniscent of alot of disco artists. Espcailly Donna Summer. Most of the tracks have a great electronic groove, yet they also have a disco beat as well. I remember when this album came out in junior high. It was a huge. I never really cared for the single love at first sight, but I loved Can't Get you out of my head. It had been years since I really listened to it, and I forgot how great the beats were beat. Also, this is a very well produced pop album along the lines of Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad, and Madonna's Confessions on A Dancefloor. More More More, excellent track very great beats. Fever alittle slower, but it work on you. It's reminiscent of a Gwen Stefani type pop song. Can't get you out of my head and In your eyes have excellent music videos, slick production, and overall a great sound. At first many of us in the us, had never really heard of Kylie Minogue until the media reminded people that she sang the locamotion. Everybody was like wtf? Seriously, but she pretty much took the US by storm at time when most of the pop artists weren't really don't plain pop music. Britney had been out for a while,so had Christina. And Madonna had just gotten old. Overall, this has to be one of her crowning achievements. When she makes good music, she really makes excellent music. This album is around 7 years old, and if anybody doesn't have this album then they should get it!

Kylie Minogue-electro dance music at its best! 5 Star Review
2009-01-22 - Fast Facts:for Kylie Minogue!

Born 28 May 1968 ( 1968 -05-28) (age 40)

Occupation(s) Singer-songwriter, Actress, Fashion designer.

Excellent! Kylie Minogue always creates danceable, yet intense electronic music. I find her keyboard arrangements to be stylish and even complex. She is truly a gifted musician and actress who has appeared in the 2007 Doctor Who Christmas special episode entitled "Voyage of the Damned", plus, a few other TV projects.

Minogue's unique electronic dance style adds a positive flavor to the "pop" culture on an international level.

This is a five star album

Just what I expected 3 Star Review
2008-05-27 - Solid dance pop. Olivia Newton-John for the new millenium. You can't go wrong with any of Kylie's CDs.

I can't think of a bad track on here. Including a video or two would have been nice, especially for "Come into my world."

I look forward to buying more of her work.

its got me 5 Star Review
2007-10-28 - at a Fever pitch. Only needed one listen through with this cd to know that i'm all about and love me some Kylie. I have liked her as an artist for awhile now this is the first cd that i've bought of hers. But the way its going it wont be the last. It is seriously addictive and requires your full attention to get all thats happening on the cd. Its all about having fun, dancing and just doing you. Each track has a crazy beat and is something that should be played before going to a club or out on the town as it gets you in the mood for the night ahead. The only real slow track is "Burning Up" and even thats not really a slow song. But its the closest to anything like it on the cd.

Obviously the track folks will know is "Can't Get You Outta My Head" as it received lots of airplay and video play here in the States. It's just a tiny sliver of what the rest of Fever is like and it needs to be bought or downloaded (Itunes).

Enjoy i know i did and still am.
