I Believe In You
2006-11-01 - Noticing that two of the guys from Scissor Sisters are on writing and producing credits, Kylie Minogue's late 2004 single "I Believe In You" is nonetheless one of her finest moments for reasons that are purely Kylie. In typical form, it's a maddeningly catchy dance track filled with moments of pure pop genius. Continuing her route of mixing retro '80s style with the current trend of rehashed electro, "I Believe In You" could dare be considered a mini-comeback within her current comeback. Part of its appeal is how refreshingly easy it comes off after the complex "Body Language" forced listeners to give the tracks a few spins before realizing their potential. Like "Can't Get You Out of My Head" three years earlier, the song brings forth one of the brilliant synth hooks of any 2004 single, and leaves pretenders to the electro-pop stakes like Gwen Stefani or Rachel Stevens in the dust.

It's full of disco beats and electronic synthesizers! It's so good, you'll want to hear it again and again. Music like this makes me smile. I believe in Kylie and I think you should get this now!

Disappointing remixes
2005-10-03 - Love the original, hate the remixes. The Mylo mix sounds like a dirge and the Skylark mix isn't even the same song anymore.

I Believe(D) In You!
2005-09-01 - I was so excited when I bought this single... I really love the origianl version and I was anxious to hear the remixes but I was so dissapointed, the remixes are not good that good at all...

The Mylo Vocal Mix- sounds like a video game and there's no chorus!
The Skylark Mix - is just music with her vocals saying "I believe in you, and if you ever had to go away" that's all.

Then only stand outs on the single are the original version (which you can get on THE ULTIMATE KYLIE cd) and the video which is not like a regular Kylie video but it's still nice and the picture for the cover.

2005-06-25 - Are you sick and bored of hearing the Mylo and Skylark remixes of your "I Believe In You" cd single but want to hear a remix that is excellent as the original track? I've discovered a beautifully remixed version of "I Believe In You" from the internet. This version is callled "I Believe In You (Wayne G vs. Club Junkies Mix)". The beautiful vocals are preserved but this one is more upbeat and more of a 'throw your hands in the air' type of remix. However, this version is a DJ-only remix but you can always request for this the next time you go clubbing especially in gay night clubs. The "Slow (Wayne G. Heaven Vault Mix)" is beautiful as well.
