2003-10-29 - This song will keep you dancing all night long, such a great pleasure this song was!!!, sadly it wasn't promoted in America. I thought it should have been included in the FEVER edition of America....but not...this is one of the finnest song ever perform by Miss Minogue. The message in the lyrics are awesome... all about getting in your feet an start a new... PS. The song was written by Idol judge Paula Abdul and others....
Kylie's Back to Spin Your Head 
2001-02-23 - After an eleven year absence from the top spot of the world's most influential chart, the UK pop chart, Kylie proved that she's still got it by scoring her fifth number one single, Spinning Around. Although, a bit cheesy, co-written, amongst others by Paula Abdul, the song brought the poplet back in touch with her disco roots and showed that Kylie is best off where she started. One of 2000's catchiest pop tunes, and inevitabely best pop female efforts (compared to the overall poor competition), the single is taken from Kylie's latest album, entitled Light Years. The CD also comes with the video that leaves many out of breath and sweating. Enough said.
But will she ever hit #1 in the US??? 
2000-09-13 - Spinning Around is a GOOD song, though it runs thin, after many repeated listen. The remixes on this CD single do not do justice to the song too.
The only way, I reckon Ms Minogue could relive her American glory in the eighties, is to do a REMAKE of her SAW hit "Locomotion", remixed to a Y2K groove. Call it "LOCOMOTION 2000", if you want.
Then, maybe, just maybe, she might be lucky enough to secure an American Billboard #1.
But then again, the Americans aren't the ones with the best taste in music.

2000-07-07 - While IP remains my fave Kylie release, I must admit that Spinning...is very catchy but it did take some time getting used to. At first I thought it sounded a lot like her early stuff which turned me off, but after a few 'spins' I was completely taken by its hypnotic beat and infectious groove. Why is Kylie not a star in the States is beyond me? Grab this and spin it around again and again.

2000-07-07 - This is what all die hard Kylie fans have been waiting for...music that makes you want to dance and sing! Spinning Around makes you want to do just that! I haven't stopped singing this song since I got it and I don't want to stop! Not only is the song great, but the video is amazing as well! It's a new Kylie classic.
