    Jaws 3 Reviews:
meets and/or exceeds all criteria for objectively bad filmaking 5 Star Review
2009-10-19 - with such gusto and zeal and permission , this film bestows a huge unintentionally hilarious love clutch on the viewer . you've got to admire the fact that SCRIPPS INSTITUTE OF OCEANOGRAPHY and SEA WORLD amongst others , gleefully endorsed this bowl filler . i can just hear the suits telling our director that "YOU'LL NEVER WORK IN THIS TOWN AGAIN" . to which i'm fairly certain that said director laughed internally and thought something along the lines of "PERHAPS NOT , BUT THIS ONE'S IN THE CAN AND IT'S GOT MY NAME ON IT" . good on him . watch with subtitles on for maximum admiration and captivation .

The Shark Roars Again 3 Star Review
2009-09-13 - Seriously, the mother shark roars about five times once she's on screen and yet we still criticize the fourth movie? The only Jaws movie where the shark doesn't roar seems to be 2 (I thought I heard the shark roar in the first one [not the scene where the shark sinks to the bottom after being killed] but I maybe wrong). The script/story, though a joke, is at least a breath of fresh air than just rehashing the first one like 2 did. At least there's a surprise when after the baby shark dies, they reveal that its mother is somewhere in the park. The most fun I do have watching this movie is pointing out the effects that were supposed to be 3-D (seeing as how the effect of 3-D doesn't translate that well to home video) and stuff that the shark isn't supposed to be able to do (like roar and being able to go in reverse when inside the pipe). A very young Dennis Quaid is the elder Brody in this outing, working at Sea World (though which Sea World I don't know but I'm guessing its Florida). He's probably the best actor out of the bunch as everyone else, especially Louis Gossett, comes off as bland. At least they got some of the characterizations right, like Sean's being afraid of the water (he did see a girl get eaten right in front of him). I wish I could enjoy this one to the fullest but everytime they're underwater, I can't see a thing, even the shark is shrouded in the murkyness of the cinematography.

Even one whole star is pushing it! 1 Star Review
2009-06-02 - About as bad as bad can get Jaws #3 is a 3d extravaganza gimmic back in the mid-80's. While one can have fun with this film , if they no what they're getting into , but impossible to take seriously. Why Fox put this 3d film on dvd in a non 3d manor is beyond me.

    Well, it's not THAT bad . . . 3 Star Review
2009-04-18 - The only things that are bad about this film are the over-the-top 3D effects used for the 3D theaters (the shark breaking the window, for example). Otherwise, this isn't really a bad film (You want bad? Watch the third Jaws sequel). The acting is only so-so, but who cares? The shark is what's the main attraction. There are tons of blood and gore (as much as there is in the first film), and the music is just as eerie and compelling. So it's not as good as the first Jaws, but at least it's more entertaining than Jaws: The Revenge.

This Movie Stinks in 3-d or 2-d 1 Star Review
2009-04-03 - I remember going to see this movie, when I was 5,and remember thinking it was great(Keep In Mind I was 5). Almost 25 years later,I bought this on DVD,and I am still asking myself,"What Was I Thinking,Buying This?".I can understand why this DVD,was in the reduced bin at "Wal-mart";it stinks in 3-d or 2-d.The film is just A tired rehash, all they did was change the setting from"Amity Island"to"Sea World" of Florida.Once again,A shark goes on rampage, this time attacking visitors of "Sea World"(Which certainly does A good job,of plugging their park in this movie). There are Alot of illogical action sequences, which totally kill the suspense. And the film is unnecessarily gory;I'm amazed this got away with A PG rating. The saddest thing about this film is the waste of A good ensemble cast;Dennis Quaid,Bess Armstrong,Louis Gossett Jr,Simon MCCorkindale, and Lea Thompson.I should also add, this DVD is not in 3-D,of course 3-d probably couldn't improve on this mess.Don't waste your time,or money,on this stupidly unnnecessary sequel.
