Wonderful! 
2008-08-18 - My 2 year old son LOVES this DVD. He sings all the songs and learned triangles from the Telly song. He absolutely loves it, I think the songs are a little annoying but it excites him beyond belief. :)
Disappointing DVD 
2008-08-14 - According to the other reviews, I noticed this DVD is a hit or miss. For us it was a miss. I was expecting a lot after the Kids Favorite Songs DVD, which is simply fabulous. This DVD left both my daughter and myself bored to tears. I am a fan of country music, but this DVD is absolutely terrible, definitely not the best Sesame Street has to offer.

2008-02-09 - This dvd is wonderful! My 2 year old son absolutely adores it, and asks for it all the time. It never bores him. The music is excellent, with artists like Johnny Cash, LeeAnn Womack and Allison Krauss on board. I feel like the dvd is instilling an appreciation for high quality music in my son, because the songs as well as the performances are so great. Also, it exposes my son to a nice array of instruments, like the banjo, the fiddle and the harmonica. He really enjoys watching them play the instruments, and it helps him learn to recognize the way the sound. I think it is even teaching him to play the harmonica, as I recently bought him a $3 harmonica and he is starting to sound alot like they do on the dvd!! Best of all, I really like the songs too. I find myself singing Allison Krauss' "Sesame Jamboree" to my son alot. I miss the old Sesame Street, with the witty songs and the great performances. This is kind of like that, just with a really rootsy, folksy, bluesy country-fied feel.

2007-07-18 - My 3 month old loves this DVD! His favorite is the Garth Brooks song- he smiles, laughs, and kicks his feet with excitement. When my son is cranky we turn on this DVD and we instantly have a happy baby again. The music is great and very catchy. My husband and I find ourselves singing the songs around the house. We absolutely love this DVD.
