Description of Imagine Me & You:
Writer/director Ol Parker's debut takes its title from "Happy Together" by the Turtles ("Imagine me and you / and you and me") and its inspiration from the romantic comedies of Richard Curtis (Love Actually). There's a twist. Flower shop owner Luce (Lena Headey, The Brothers Grimm) is gay. Newlywed Rachel (a convincingly UK-accented Piper Perabo, Lost and Delirious) is straight. The two meet at Rachel's wedding--Luce designed the floral arrangements--and feel an instant connection. Rachel brushes it off. After all, the charming Heck (Matthew Goode, Match Point) was her best friend long before he became her husband. Shortly after the ceremony, however, she begins to feel as if something is missing. She starts making excuses to see Luce. First it's to thank her for the flowers, then it's to invite her to dinner with Heck and their on-the-make pal Cooper (a hilarious Darren Boyd)...who's crushed when he discovers that Luce prefers women. Rachel, meanwhile, finds married life pleasant enough, but only really feels alive when she's with Luce. It's tricky, because she loves Heck and doesn't want to hurt his feelings, so she and Luce decide to stop seeing each other. But the bond between the two is too powerful for either to resist. What it may lack in originality, Imagine Me & You makes up for in an enchanting soundtrack and sensitive performances from its three likable leads. --Kathleen C. Fennessy

Beautiful love story between two beauties! 
2009-11-04 - I personally think that love has no boundaries. Love just is. And it really doesn't matter who we fall in love with as long as the feeling is genuine and honest. It's just our prejudices and misconceptions as human beings that ruin the spark for many.
This is a great love story, the kind that brings me back the faith I've lost in people as a whole. It's sweet and charming, with great photography, music and dialogues. It's an everyday story, well told, and it happens out there more times than we could possible imagine or account for. Their acting is great, and the chemistry between these two actresses is just perfect. It's one of my all time favorites. I fully recommend it, you won't be disappointed.
I'm disappointed... 
2009-10-18 - Decided to watch this movie last night after seeing almost perfect ratings from other users. I'm a little disappointed. I didn't like the movie, not because it is a lesbian movie. If you call falling in love with someone else (love at first site) on your own wedding day is romantic, then this is the movie you should watch. Sometimes you have to use some common sense to reason, and not just follow your heart. This is why divorce rate is increasing ever rapidly!
Sub-par packaging 
2009-10-12 - The DVD case looked like it had been dropped in some liquid other than water...it was very damaged. The DVD still works okay, but I'm still disappointed.
The BEST love movie EVER!
2009-10-10 - I love this movie! It is not your stereo typical movie of girl meets girl. It is genuinly heartfelt and keeps your attention with quite a few laughs. I TOTALLY recommend this movie! It is one of my favorites of all time!
One of the Best of Its Kind
2009-07-29 - This movie was sweet and beautiful and funny. I wish there more more love stories like this out there--those that cast same sex love with the same sweet intensity, humor, and innocence of a good straight comedy. The acting was terrific and the characters both lovely and fun.
If you are not a homophobe, there's a 99.9% chance you will enjoy this movie.
