2002-10-27 - First of all, I would like to say that this cd is a very worthy
listen. Although it contains no LK music, there is a lot of very good information about this artist.
I have taken one star off largely because of these 2 reasons. The cd gives ample note to the collaboration of Lenny/ Slash, (and rightfully so), but fails to name the decade long collaboration with the brilliant guitarist Craig Ross. It also fails to mention by name the long term drummer Cindy Blackman.
Secondly, the cd dismisses the Album "Circus" as difficult to listen to for even dedicated LK fans. Speaking for myself, I would not want to do without the likes of "Circus", "Beyond The 7th Sky", "Can't Get You off My Mind", "Thin Ice", and the supporting tracks. The live renditions of "Circus" tracks are also indispensable.
I still would rate this cd a very worthy listen for LK fans, and well worth the money.
better than expected
2000-12-30 - i have to admit ,many audio biographical cd's ive bought have sucked ,the quality is bad ,andnot much time or effort gets put into them , to be honest i didn't expect this to be much different ,but being the die hard lenny fan that i am i bought it ,and thank god! it was good ,the quality was great ,and i actually enjoyed listening to it .
i'm a die hard lenny fan ,and i still found out stuff i didn't know about him ...okay sure ,i got so into it ,i was wishing there was a second cd ,but hey ,let's leave that to lenny people, but it's definatly a good product to buy . and if you get this ,make sure you get the albums ,couse there more biographical than any interview or special feature about the guy could be . enjoy

2000-08-12 - Lenny is one of my favorites. I bought this CD thinking there would be musical recordings on it. There are none. It is a recorded interview instead.
