Lenny Kravitz - Live (Limited Edition) Reviews: waste of a great live show 2008-12-31 - im jumping on the dog pile, concert and interviews must be seperate.
it would have been an amazing show in it self, but to hack the crap out of it, was a ripoff of the fans. very sad
No problem piling on, here 2008-02-20 - Like so many other reviewers, I am very frustrated by this kind of DVD. I returned this DVD to the store I bought it from and received in store credit. I then purchased a concert DVD, not a documentary film. I'd just as soon read a Wikipedia site to get the biography. Lenny is like most rockstars backstage. This didn't exactly break new ground.
Cool 2006-05-24 - Catch a backstage and pass much more. Great DVD for the Lenny Kravitz fan. The only downside is that the (full) live performances shown are all from the same concert. But if you're a real Lenny fan you have already seen him live a few times anyway.
lenny should ROCK more! 2006-02-24 - i just saw lennie open for aerosmith in l.a. and he played alot of this dvd but not bank robberman. this dvd is too mellow for me, although bank robberman ROCKS! only 7-8 songs do not have the interview and voice overs, bank robberman and fly away being two that you can play with no voiceovers but american woman turns into an interview.... most of the other songs are just too mellow. his drummer is a female and she is really cool and plays like a maniac on a six pack of red bull, a refreshing change.
Style over substance 2004-05-01 - What Lenny is wearing or who he's dating is more important than his (lackluster) music. This is music for readers of People magazine a la Sheryl Crow. Very weak dvd of a media created 'artist'. Lenny, you are not Jimi Hendrix...
