Camera work ruined this
2009-12-11 - First off, I am a huge Prince fan. \

This was a great performance, but the camera work was horrendous. If Prince is taking a solo... how about show him playing the solo... not 6 different camera shots of the band/audience/etc... It was starting to give me a seizure/making me nauseous.

Take a lesson from Stop Making Sense.

2009-08-28 - This is a great show. The line-up is unexpected and I was entertained from start to end. The picture quality is superb, looks like hi-def on my 720P 37" LCD. The sound is crisp and clear, although not loud...I had to set the volume at about 50 which should have blown the doors off. The price makes it a no-brainer, I love Amazon for that---the only place to shop for music CDs and DVDs. Purple Rain is stunning and he actually sings the entire show. This is really a top-notch production.

2009-05-24 - The ultimate New Year's Eve 1999 party. The party every Prince fan would have wanted to attend. Prince is at his very very best. He was amazing as was Larry Graham and the NPG (Rosie Gaines) and guests Lenny Kravitz - Morris Day & The Time - and other special artists & guests. Just when you think it was over...Prince grabs you and spins you around for another ride. He gives you his hits - he sings blues - he does rock. Since I couldn't be there LIVE; I am so glad that I bought it. I felt like I was there. He is truly amazing...but of course......he is PRINCE..!!!!!

2009-05-23 - This concert is so good. It gets boring at times but overall it's a very good excellent concert to watch. He does some old songs (Purple Rain) and he does some new songs accorrding to when this dvd came out (The Greatest Romance Ever Sold). This DVD comes with innerviews and some bonus clips of the concert which is cool. I would recommend this DVD to anyone who is willing to sit for over 2 hours to watch Prince and his friends perform.
