The simple pleasure of watching a living car squirt oil in a villain's face just never goes away. Disney, in their effort to revitalize the Herbie franchise, has made the wise choice of not trying too hard--aside from a small bit of skateboarding action, just about every element of Herbie: Fully Loaded would fit right into the 1963 original (groovily titled The Love Bug) or its various sequels. Maggie Peyton (Lindsay Lohan, the fiery-tressed starlet of Mean Girls and Freaky Friday) wants to join her family's dynasty of race car drivers, but her father (Michael Keaton, Batman Returns) worries that she'll get hurt. Instead, as a college graduation gift, he buys her a junked-out Volkswagen Beetle--which turns out to be Herbie, a car with a mind of its own. Soon Maggie and Herbie are racing against an arrogant racing champion (Matt Dillon, Crash, There's Something About Mary) and duking it out with monster trucks, eventually hoping her father's heart will change. Herbie: Fully Loaded is formulaic fluff, but executed with cheerful enthusiasm; everyone involved has clearly embraced the mix of slapstick hijinks and light family drama. 2009-12-24 - Laughably over the top bad. I love kid movies as much as the next guy, but this thing is just trash. Full of clichés, lame acting, dumb plot. Literally one of the five worst movies I've ever seen in my lifetime. Do yourself a favor and don't watch it. What a waste of cash...


This movie sucks!
2009-12-23 - I watched this movie expecting it to be atleast a little bit good and i was sooo wrong it was the biggest waste of time of my life the whole move was just dumb and stupid and i hated it i can saflt say that that movie is the worst one i've seen in my life (I'm 14) yes i know there are people out there who actually like the move (i will be shocked if any one does like this heap of s hit)but i thought it sucked balls


What a complete piece of trash
2009-12-14 - I don't know why I even thought I would enjoy this movie. I should have known it was going to be awful (it stars Lindsay Lohan, after all). The movie makes it abundantly clear that Ms Lohan is nothing more than a women who's only "accomplishments" in life were doing drugs, partying every night, going to jail,.. Give it another 2 weeks or so and it will be in the clearance bin at every store marked for a penny. I found this movie to be incredibly boring, the script poorly written, utterly pointless, and a bit narcissistic. Don't be fooled by the title -- HERBIE FULLY LOADED. There is absolutely nothing sweet about this movie .

Terrible acting, terrible quality, very unbelievable...
2009-11-26 - I only rented this movie because Lindsay Lohan was on the cover. Little did I know it isn't about her at all...it's about the car. The film quality is terrible and it really looks like someone went outside with a home video camera and taped it. On top of that, the acting is very bad along with the 3D effects. And...the events are completely unbelievable. On top of all that, whoever edited the movie put little stupid effects. Everything about this movie was dumb. I really think anyone could go out, buy a video camera and some cheap editing program, and make a movie better than this. If it didn't have Lindsay Lohan...it would have NOTHING going for it.

Frustrating...
2009-11-25 - My son loves Lindsay Lohan's movies but this movie skipped throughout the entire movie. Pretty frustrating.
