Editorial Review: Studio: Wea-des Moines Video Release Date: 11/18/2003 Linkin Park - Live in Texas (CD/DVD Combo) Reviews: IMPRESSIVE! 2009-09-04 - My wife, who is who was born in Texas, brought this album home one day and insisted that i watch and listen. That was 4 years ago, and i'm on my third dvd. I was very much impressed by the band's energy, taking into consideration of the Texas summer heat. The intire band gave 110%, at least at this filming. I love Chester Benningtons "Leather Lungs" coming from a very thin frame. Linkin Park, in my opinion, could have brought back arena size concerts, but after seeing them on tour, I could see how the filming and sound in "Live in Texas", may have been just a little to good. My advice to Linkin Park is, "Your young!Pay your dues, then you can slow down!" OH! You don't like my review? Then "SHUT UP WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU!"
Awesome. 2009-06-07 - This DVD/CD set is very cool. Been a Linkin Park fan for years and the dvd rocks ;)
Great live performance. 2008-03-24 - Linkin Park - Live in Texas is a solid and thrilling live concert of one of my favorite bands. The audio cd is good but the the DVD concert is worth the purchase alone. Chester Bennington's vocals are spot-on and jeez I don't know how he can sing, scream, and belt for two hours straight! He's an amazing frontman, and Mike Shioda never skips a beat with his rapping styles, I was really impressed. The band have a lot of staying-power as well. Every song this band plays sounds good and refreshing. I highly recommend this incredible concert!
LP video/DVD is great 2008-01-17 - I ordered this for my wife who is a huge LP fan. She loves it, and so do my kids.
Refreshing 2008-01-08 - Some people are mentioning, in a negative tone, that the music they play live in this dvd is too close to the album. I for one found it very refreshing to see a band that is able to play their music (especially vocals) the same way they did in their recordings. All too many artists these days seem to get lazy with their vocals on stage and end up providing music that shows that. Improvisation is great, but when other bands improvise to a poor quality, I'm not for that. Thank you Linkin Park.
