Editorial Review:
2009 album from the platinum-selling, Grammy nominated Queen Of Rock (and former Runaway). With Wicked Wonderland, Lita has returned with a vengeance, delivering her heaviest album ever. Following a 14 year break from the Rock 'n' Roll world to raise a family, Lita hit the studio to record Wicked Wonderland. The recordings find her rocking, playing and singing with an amped-up fury and power like never before that's also informed by her personal growth as a wife and mother as well as legendary rocker. The initial 25,000 pressing includes bonus four tracks!
Wicked Wonderland Reviews:
GREAT ALBUM
2009-12-06 - GREAT SONGS.
GREAT PERFORMANCES.
GREAT PRODUCTION.
GREAT SOUND.
WICKED WONDERLAND IS ALL THAT.
Wicked good!
2009-12-05 - Where should I start? Lita has come back from paradise as a wife, mother and living legend.
Her latest and greatest, Wicked Wonderland shows us that it's possible for an artist to grow and mature even while away.
Lita Ford has made an incredible album. I've always liked her but she has made me a full on Lita fanatic with this one! OMG the songs are sexy, personal, kinky, hard n heavy, full of attitude, and just plain great songs! As a fan of heavy music this is undeniable.
The singing and guitar playing are first class all the way. Her husband Jim Gillette fits in perfectly. He's the Ying to Lita's Yang! Lita plays her guitar like there's no tomorrow. She makes it scream with pleasure and scream with pain! Lita's not a great woman guitar player - she's a great guitar player period! Listen to the end solo on Bed and you'll agree.
The production is also first class. Greg Hampton fits in perfectly with Lita and Jim. Together they did a fantastic job. I've had Wicked Wonderland for a week and already know all the words. This is an album that you can listen to all the way through.
Out of 15 songs it's very difficult to have a favorite. That's usually not the case these days as most albums only have 1 or 2 great songs.
I'll narrow mine down as best as I can.

Love
Obviously I love this phenomenal album by the Queen of Rock.
5 out of 5.
This is a very special CD by an even more special woman
2009-12-03 - Spectacular, superb, intense, awesome, personal, and heavy are all good descriptions.
Lita has really made a fantastic CD and it really caught me off guard. I would have never guessed she could have made such an incredible come back album.
The time away has really been good because the songs on Wicked Wonderland are amazing. They're extremely sexual and even more personal.
It's almost a concept album but not quite. The songs hook you in after just a few listens. There's a lot going on and you'll continue to hear more after quite a few listens. It's really deep and I love that in music. What I find very refreshing is the fact that Lita has just gone for it. She's moving on and evolving and that's just so empowering.I wish more artists would make music from their heart instead of trying to recreate the same old same old. When Lita left the scene years ago one could have argued that she was more pop than metal. This is not the case on Wicked Wonderland. She's musically heavier than she's ever been. This doesn't stop the songs from being catchy though, in fact, I'd say these are some of her best songs yet. Guitar playing?
This is what I was perhaps the most nervous about. After being away so long would Lita still have the beautiful feel that's always captivated me? She does and then some! The ending solos on "Bed" and "Betrayal" are flat out guitar hero good! I read in another review that she sounds like Hendrix, yes I heard that in there too. Her guitar skills are all intact and I must say Wicked Wonderland has some of her best solos of record. So to summarize, Lita's newest is all I could have hoped for and more. This CD is sure to please old and new fans alike. I'm so happy for Lita and her magnificent return.
trash
2009-12-03 - Sorry about my english, hope you understand what I write. If not I do apologize!
O.K. this is the deffest and badest Lita album I ever heard. Oh girl what a trash - no more genious riffs, no more outstanding voice from Lita only the noise of Jim Gilette. Songwriting like an amateur what did she think? In my collection there are all Lita albums she ever released also including the Runaways releases. but never, never I got such a poor kind of music from this lady. I'm very disapointed.
Gotta LOVE Lita's Wicked Wonderland
2009-12-02 - As a long time Lita fan I've been patiently waiting for her return.
The first lady of rock is back! Her new sound is heavy and I love it!
The songs are instantly memorable. The sound is very cool.
Lita's voice sounds great and her guitar solos are on fire!
The production on this is very nice in a nasty sort of way.
This CD has made the wait well worth it. It's quickly becoming my favorite CD.
Wicked Wonderland is Wicked!
