SHANGHAI NOON: Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson jump back in the saddle for SHANGHAI KNIGHTS, the hilarious sequel to the hit action-comedy SHANGHAI NOON. When Chon Wang (Chan) gets news of his estranged father's murder in Shanghai, he leaves his honorable life as Carson City's sheriff in a cloud of dust and reunites with his yarn-spinning sidekick, Roy O'Bannon (Wilson). Together they make their way to London on a daring quest for honor and revenge. Hilarious escapades and hair-raising adventures ensue as our heroes find themselves in the middle of a devious plot to eliminate the entire royal family. And Chon gives Victorian Britain a royal kick in the pants as he tries to avenge his father's death and keep love-struck Roy away from his sister! SHANGHAI KNIGHTS: Two cultures collide in SHANGHAI NOON, a wildly hilarious, stunt-filled action-adventure comedy starring the death-defying action hero Jackie Chan, Owen Wilson, and Lucy Liu. Chan plays Chinese Imperial Guard Chon Wang (say it out loud) who hightails it to the wild and woolly West to rescue the beautiful kidnapped Princess Pei Pei (Liu). When he meets up with the laid-back outlaw cowboy dude Roy O'Bannon (Wilson), they form the best mismatch ever made in the rough and tumble Old West -- the two face jail, brawls, bordellos, and the vilest villains this side of the Great Wall! Spectacular stunts, outrageous irreverence, and epic vistas reign as East meets West in a battle for honor, royalty, and a fortune in gold! It's a real kick

Shanghai Noon / Shanghai Knights Reviews:
A fun time 5 Star Review
2009-05-17 - I like action movies with some humor and these fit the bill. I'm not into martial arts for itself and had bought Shanghai Noon on VHS mainly because Owen Wilson was in it and I like his comedy. The combination of him with Chan is, at least in these two movies, irresistible. I don't know about anyone else, but these are great movies for me.

Once Again, Widescreen Fans Dissed 2 Star Review
2009-03-02 - Once again, I see an attractively priced set of films that I'd like to purchase, until I notice that it's only available if you purchase the full-screen version of the film. I first noticed this when I was looking to purchase 'Wallace and Gromit and the Curse of the Were-Rabbit'. They had a nice set where you could also get all of the Wallace and Gromit shorts along with the film. Since the set only included the full-screen version of the film, I passed and bought the wide-screen version separately. Next, this past Christmas season I looked to see if they were selling a boxed set of the three 'Santa Clause' films. I was happy to see that amazon was, for the very reasonable price of $30.49. Happy, that is, until I saw that you could only get the set if you didn't mind missing 30% or so of the film - you know, like you do if you watch it in full-screen. Now this, another set I'd like to get - but I'll be darned if I'll buy in in full-screen. I can only assume that these sets are available like this because retailers are left with massive amounts of copies of these various films in the full-screen format, so they package them in the hope that people won't notice that they're full-screen, or else will be so happy to save a couple of bucks that they'll take the inferior format. Not me - I'd rather pay a couple of bucks extra to see the film the way it was supposed to be seen.

Good Funny Movies 5 Star Review
2009-01-28 - I like these movies very much. Both actors did a great job and kept me laughing. Would recommend to those who like these actors and want some good laughs.

    Funny movies 5 Star Review
2008-10-27 - Owen wilson is the "Man" not as good as wedding crashers, but the movies are definately up there.

my opinion on DVD's 5 Star Review
2008-07-18 - I liked the quality of the DVD's and speed of shipment. It took only a fortnight to be delivered. Good job!
