Description of Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure:
Tinkerbell is back for a whole new season of adventure in Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure. Pixie Hollow is all abuzz with preparations for autumn and Tinkerbell is hard at work on her latest invention when she is unexpectedly summoned by Queen Clarion and the Minister of autumn. Tinkerbell fears that she's in trouble again, but is instead delighted to find out that Fairy Mary has recommended her for the important job of creating a one-of-a-kind scepter that will focus the light of an unusual blue harvest moon through a rare moonstone in order to replenish the pixie dust tree's supply of pixie dust. Tinkerbell gladly rises to the challenge, accepting her dust-keeper friend Terrence's offers of help, but as the days fly rapidly by, pressure begins to build and Tinkerbell becomes annoyed by Terrence's constant attention. Sending Terrence away on an errand seems like a good idea, but what he brings back inadvertently causes the almost finished scepter and the incredibly rare moonstone to break into pieces. Tinkerbell lashes out at Terrence and then departs alone on a desperate quest to fix the moonstone. What Tinkerbell learns on her journey is that she must take responsibility for her own actions and that the power and value of true friendship is much greater than she'd ever imagined. Like the first Tinkerbell, the colors and clarity of animation are simply breathtaking in this production, but the story lags somewhat thanks to a lengthy set up and a general lack of suspense in the first half of the film. Still, it's a perfectly entertaining movie that will delight children ages 3 and up as well as satisfy most parents. Returning voice talent includes Mae Whitman, Kristin Chenoweth, Jane Horrocks, Anjelica Huston, Jesse McCartney, and Raven-Symone. --Tami Horiuchi

Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure Reviews:
    So cute! 5 Star Review
2009-12-01 - All three of my kids (and myself) loved this movie. My son thought it was very entertaining. Great movie for all kids!! :)

Never received the item as promised 1 Star Review
2009-12-01 - This item was ordered and I was charged for it, but I never received the item. Needless to say, that I will not order from this seller again.

Visually stunning...but when it comes to Tinker Bell 4 Star Review
2009-11-30 - The scenes in Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure are beautiful and magical enough to keep kids enthralled. I'm an adult, and I thought they were wonderful. Unfortunately, on the one hand, you have beautiful visuals...and then there's Tinker Bell.

She's a brat. She also is not the best role model for children. From start to near finish, her behavior is pretty bad. From hiding things she does wrong, blaming others for her own mistakes, treating others (especially friends) badly, etc...she's not the easiest character to care for. Does she change? It takes some time, but yes. Also, this movie seems to vindicate stealing but, of course, in the name of friendship. This is one thing that really rubbed me the wrong way. So, if this is a concern for any parent, just know that there might be some things to watch for.

Other than Tinker Bell behaving badly (which doesn't really surprise me considering how bratty she always seemed in Peter Pan), the scenes are eye candy. There is an adorable lightning bug named Blaze, who I'm sure kids will adore, and the adventure itself is very entertaining, and, again magical. I am very tempted to give this movie three stars because of the lead character, but I think kids will find this fun to watch. I just want to throw a little warning out there: bad role model + one bad message that ends the movie. Some kids will certainly be mature enough to see that Tinker Bell is not doing the right thing (in multiple cases), which can be a good thing. But I have seen fantasies and movies specifically aimed at children that deal with bad behavior in a way that is a little more effective than this one.

Better than the 1st, great new character 4 Star Review
2009-11-25 - First- to all the reviewers who are complaining that Tinkerbell was portrayed as a rude character who gets her way, you obviously did not watch the movie- when she was quick to anger - everything went wrong and she lost everything, then she apologized and changed her ways and things started looking up again. The movie ends with the song 'The Gift of a Friend' - this movie is about appreciating your friends.

Back to the movie, beautiful animation, great new comedic character 'Blaze' the glowbug who acts as Tink's sidekick, this character does not speak and still was amusing!

Great/cute movie, the little ones will love it and the fans of Tink will too!

my granddaughter loved it! 4 Star Review
2009-11-24 - tinkerbell and the lost treasure was a gift for my granddaughter. It arrived promptly and she loved it.
