A Season For Miracles (Hallmark Hall of Fame) Reviews:
    Excellent!!! 5 Star Review
2009-11-09 - I really liked this movie - the story line was excellent. it's very heart warming that is good and can be enjoyed by the whole family.

One of the Best 5 Star Review
2009-09-15 - I am a huge fan of Christmas movies, but not just in December. I'm a member of the 'unofficial' Christmas movies all year long club! And more of us are popping up all the time. They're not just for Christmas anymore! Hallmark movies are known for their exceptional quality and 'A Season For Miracles' is no exception. I just watched it again this morning and every time it is fresh and not in the least a disappointment. The acting is warm and wonderful and the actors are top quality with some of the best. How wonderful for Carla's character to get to headline with these veterans. The story line is somewhat fantasy like, yet believable adding to all the feel good warmth. It has some real life tragedy qualities, and life lessons of sacrifice and forgiveness, making it even more worthy of your viewing time. The cost was well worth it so, 'A Season For Miracles' has become one of my top favorite Christmas movies of all time. Go head- let it give you a boost & some pleasure...after all..."Anything is Possible".

romantic story for the winter evening 5 Star Review
2009-05-18 - Thanks for sending it so quickly. This story is wonderful. I am so happy that I found it.

Makes me happy to see every year. 5 Star Review
2008-12-21 - I first started watching this because I was pretty stunned at the cast. Laura Dern; Pattie Duke; Kathy Bates? That caught my eye that this was going to be above most Christmas fare. And it is. Carla Gugino plays a poor woman on the run from the law, for a very minor offense, with her niece and nephew. Through a tremendous set of holiday magic, they end up staying in a tremendous mansion with the entire town believing they are a well-known townie and her kids.

Of course, she immediately meets, attracts, and is attracted to, the single and perfect police officer in the town - David Conrad. The police officer has just moved to this small town from Chicago. But they are kept apart as she knows it is just a matter of time until he finds out who she is. She is stuck in the town because her car is an old clunker and has broken down. Her plan is to get out of there as soon as possible but events, and half the town, conspire for the two to fall for each other.

In the end, well, how do you think it ends? Yup, that is likely it. But the ride is enjoyable and exactly what you want to see on a cold winter day with the tree and hot chocolate. Always leaves a smile on my face.

Heartwarming Christmas Movie!! 5 Star Review
2008-12-01 - A Season for Miracles has been my favorite Christmas movie since I first watched it on the Hallmark Channel about 5 years ago. I watch it so many times each season that I finally decided to purchase my own DVD. The story is simple - an aunt takes her incarcerated sister's two children to keep them from being separated in foster care. They end up in this town called Bethlehem, which is a quaint small town where everyone welcomes them. An angel, played by Patty Duke, leads them to an abandoned house for shelter and the townspeople believe that Emilie is the niece of the deceased owner. Desperate for shelter and money to pay for a very sick car, they stay there. I won't spoil the rest of the plot, but it is a fee-good movie with a happy ending. One of Hallmark's classics!!
