Dance Fitness for Beginners with MaDonna Grimes: Urban Street Heat Reviews:
Pretty good workout
2008-07-07 - This workout is good for beginners, or if you are looking to break a little sweat. The moves are pretty easy, but she does go through them quickly. I am a more intermediate dancer (not advanced by any means) so this workout was not as entertaining as I had hoped. But, it was fun and I did break a sweat!
always a winner with madonna grimes
2008-06-12 - this video is great just like African Beat, Latin Heat! easy to learn dance moves and fun at the same time. for a moderate speed workout thats a blast to do, you can never go wrong with Madonna Grimes.
AWESOME
2008-06-04 - I ordered several DVDs that I was taking a chance on - -this being one of them. Boy am I glad I did. This is a fun way to exercise - -and it doesn't feel like exercise.
not for beginners as stated on cover.
2008-02-26 - I am a beginner, I though it was too many moves to learn, not enough repetitions. And to add to the dificulty of coordinate all the steps (and arms) together it was frustrating that the camera angles kept moving around zooming in and out! I guess was just not a good teaching method because I have been doing many dancing workout videos and I was able to follow the other teachers without a problem. If you are a begginer don't buy. If you are expert you probably won't have this problem.
Fun!
2008-02-20 - This is the most fun that I have had with a workout DVD. She breaks down the steps and explains things really well, and she has great energy (but not the cheesy kind of energy that most fitness instructors have). I got my heart rate up and it didn't even feel like I was working out!
