Editorial Review: Its 25 years since Madonna first came to the attention of the world and since then shes barely been off the chart out of the papers or even come close to dropping off the public radar. Madonna - The Performance Review is a documentary film which concentrates on this extraordinary womans work as a dancer a performer and an actress. From her astonishing music videos to her staggering live shows and a reassessment of her often unfairly criticized film career this program looks again at how she has entertained us for more than a quarter of a century to an extent few if any have ever come close to matching. Featuring rare and classic performance footage of Madonna.System Requirements:Running Time: 67 minsFormat: DVD Genre: DANCE/ELECTRONICA/DANCE Artist: MADONNA Rating: NR UPC: 823564510491 Madonna - The Performance Review Reviews: A New Sight of Her Light 2007-07-29 - Madonna is currently helping Africa's children in the fight for AIDS. Paris Hilton sits on her butt all day while having a martini with Lindsy Lohan on a beach with nude males. This DVD is not as much about Madonna as it is about trying to wake up people to the problems that surround us. This DVD tells us the problems on earth and it shows how Madonna trys to express them through her music and peformances through out the world.
PARIS HILTON & HER FAMILY MEMBERS HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING TO HELP THE CAUSE. INSTEAD PARIS GETS ARRESTED FOR SPEEDING AND DUI. PARIS WASTES WHAT MADONNA TRYS TO PRESERVE. Paris can not in any way match up to Madonna.
I don't mean to be bitchy, but please shut the f***k up Mrs. Ritchie 2007-07-06 - Speak the truth & shame the devil! Madonna is not important, provocative, or a catalyst anymore. She has once again re-invented herself as an unimaginative conglomerate that peddles her bebop-commodity her loyal mindless drones. What her sheep do not realize is that Madonna spits on everyone who isn't rich and famous. The same people that Queen Madonna markets her stock to are the same people that she wouldn't waste her precious time speaking to because this pampered parvenu thinks she's better than everyone. But she's about as artistic, creative, lazy, and greedy as The Juice. And this DVD is just a puff piece marketed to the masses to make money off the bleach-blonde cash-cow. It's no surprise that this garbage is not entertaining or informative. But couldn't they have at least licensed a better picture for the DVD cover? That picture is beyond repugnant; she looks like a West Hollywood drag-queen.
