Mixes of Fever, but none of Bad Girl
2008-06-15 - Well this is becoming a huge problem for me as I buy cd's off of Amazon randomly. The cd has the original version of a song, but I am really looking for something fresh. By that I mean, a different interpretation of a song that might possibly have been played out in it's original format.

That being said, that was my very experience with Madonna's Single Bad Girl. The original version is on there and then a number of remixes of the song Fever. A few of which are pretty good. My favorite being The Murk remix. Perfect for a club with a driving big club & trance sound.

But overall I wasn't looking for the remixes of Fever, but Bad Girl, which I personally think is a very sexy song and would have liked to see it be taken further with a nice mix.

For me, the original Peggy Lee (is it?) version is way better than most any rendition of a more current artist. In my opinion, this applies even for such an Icon as Madonna.

2008-05-14 - Well, I love the song BAD GIRL and this cd contains many remixes of fever so I don not why it`s called bad girl. The remixes are good but I like the video version and it`s not included in the cd and that`s a shame.

2007-10-10 - I love the extended mix of Bad Girl and the remixes of "Fever" on this CD aren't bad either. Not to mention the hot picture on the cover from the "Sex" book photo sessions.

2005-05-11 - "Bad Girl" was the least successful single of Madonna's career up to that point, reached a mere #36 on the charts (It did better in the UK, reaching #10). It is actually a very good ballad. The "b-side" of the single was "Fever", which was a big hit song back in the late '50s. This CD single features two mixes of "Bad Girl" and four mixes of "Fever". I guess the reason that "Fever" got more mixes than "Bad Girl" is because "Bad Girl" is a ballad that doesn't lend itself to dance remixes. The "Bad Girl" mixes don't sound all that different than the album version, other than being different lengths. The "Fever" remixes, on the other hand, are quite different from the album version. They are all six to eight minute dance remixes, and they are pretty cool.

2005-04-01 - "Bad Girl" is one of the best songs off of her Erotica CD. It was a great 1993 single that should've charted higer than the 30's. It's a beautiful emotional song about an unfaithul relationship. One of Madonna's best ballads.
