My Favorite Madonna Maxi Single 
2007-12-20 - Out of all the Madonna maxi-singles I own, this is the one I keep going back to. This is her best. Usually with a maxi you get a couple of good mixes. In this one, they are all good. Recommended to all Madonna fans.
I prefer more up to date mixes 
2007-10-10 - These mixes are early house from the early 90s. They held their own at the time, but they wouldn't stand in a club today. -Unless they were played in a retro room.
I can't help loving this song.
2006-09-30 - Chris Lowe of the Pet Shop Boys once said that one of his favorite Madonna songs was "Deeper and Deeper" and he had good cause. Madonna is at her best when she is performing dance music, and this is an amazing dance song.
The single, released near the end of 1992, came at a time when the format of singles were just starting to change. Prior to 1990's Vogue most singles just included dubs, extended versions, and edits. As the 90's progressed artists started to take more advantage of the b-side mixes. By the time Bedtime Stories was released in 1994 Madonna was enlisting the likes of Junior Vasquez, Orbital, and Danny Tenaglia.
Here we find the mixes are done by David Morales and Shep Pettibone. Both do decent jobs, but the real work of art is the original version.
I don't think you can hurt this song in a remix, it's just that great. In 1995 Madonna released a collection of her greatest ballads.
If ever she were to make a collection specific to her best dance tracks, thiis song would most definitely have a home, shining with the best - Into The Groove, Vogue, Music, Hung Up, Holiday...

2006-09-29 - This is a great song, but I was a little disappointed by the remixes.
The only remix I really liked was Davids Klub Mix.
Worth buying for any Madonna fan, but overall just average.
Fall deeper into dance with Madonna!
2006-05-16 - This is the absolute BEST single from Erotica! This is the most danceable, Bye Bye Baby is great but not great enough, and Erotica is just too overheated and creepy. Here's a tracklisting and review for each track.
1. Album Edit (4:55, 9/10): Nice, but the album version is WAY better.
2. Shep's Deep Makeover Mix (9:09, 10/10): AWESOME! Really hot and sexy, too! This is Shep's first Madonna remix. EVER. (Also the longest on the maxi.)
3. David (Morales') Klub Mix (7:40, 9.9/10): Very good, but not good enough. It's tolerable, though.
4. Shep's Classic 12" (7:27, 10/10): Nice! A perfect example of perfect late 80s-early 90s 12" mixes.
5. Shep's Fierce Deeper Dub (6:01, 10/10): The best of the D&D dubs. It's got a great piano line, too.
6. David's Love Dub (5:39, 9.9/10): I never really enjoyed David Morales' remixes of this song. He did a much better job on Annie Lennox's "Walking on Broken Glass".
7. Shep's Deep Beats (2:57, 10/10): I LOVE IT! This is a great way to end the CD. It should have been called "Vogue (Shep Pettibone Dub)", though, because it contains no vocal elements of "Deeper & Deeper" at all. It's basically a sampled Madonna line "Greta Garbo" repeated over some beats and music. It's still great, though!
TOTAL EVALUATION: 19.9/20 Very good, but gets .1 off because of David Morales' remixes. BUY "DEEPER & DEEPER" TODAY!!!
