Music Reviews:
"Do you like my acid rock?"
2009-08-02 - Music by Madonna was a cool dance song and I loved the video. This cd single has some fun remixes but some I was less than thrilled about. The Calderone remix is my favorite here, that guy knows how to remix a song - it's fresh and gets you movin'. Madge looked stunning during this time period, I love the whole cowgirl persona she was portraying back then in 2000. Hot song, I also recommend her Music album as well.
Madonna is amazing
2008-04-14 - I love this album. I think Madonna is very talented and everything she does is amazing. My favorite songs are Music, Impressive Instant, Runaway lover and Amazing. I suggest you buy it because you never hear Impressive Instant or Runaway lover on the radio.
Better versions than the album version
2007-10-10 - The mixes on this CD are WAY better than the minimal album version. The HQ2 and Groove Armada mixes are the best. They all bring their own flavor to the song of course, but these are the best.
One-star Madonna reviewers disgust me
2006-02-21 - You 1-star Madonna reviewers suck. Firstly, Music is the best single ever. Secondly, only 10 people wrote one-star reviews, so that means that you are outnumbered by people who love this song. Thirdly, her name is Madonna, not Modonna. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.
Music: BUY THIS!!!
2006-02-19 - I loved the "Music" album. I loved the "Don't Tell Me" and "What It Feels Like For A Girl" singles. And I loved this. The trax on here are AWESOME! The Calderone mix I didn't care for, though. Anyway, here is a review of each track (save the edits):
1 HQ2 Club Mix (8:52): R&B-ish. It's good, but kinda weird at times.
2 Calderone Anthem Mix (11:57): Ugh. This is a somewhat boring mix. Mr Calderone can do better.
3 Deep Dish.com Remix (11:24): Hmm...I can't describe this one (at least not in words). It's LOADS better than the EXTREMELY repetitive DD Dub of Dido's "Thankyou".
4 GA Club Mix (9:31): This is my favorite. It's a lovely little piece of music. The violin/string section interspersed thru-out this mix is GORGEOUS! So is the way they enhanced Madonna's voice w/a vocoder. Also R&B-ish, but more than the HQ2 Club Mix.
5 Young Collective Club Mix (13:16, 13:20 on import singles): Wow! This is long! (my first reaction.) This is probably the second longest Madonna remix ever (The longest is a tie between a 14+ min. extended version of the Calderone Club Mix of "Ray of Light" and a 14:32 promo-only Mike Danavan remix of "Don't Tell Me"). It's nice, but slightly repetitive.
Tracks missing from this maxi:
1. Groove Armada Bonus Beats 4:51
2. GA 7" Mix 3:37
3. The Young Collective Radio Mix 3:45
4. Album Version 3:46
The first, second, and fourth tracks are all available on the Australian enhanced single. The third is only available on the promo.
No edit reviews (as I said before). And now, I end this review by saying:
BUY THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!! U WONT REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Does anybody know why Madonna's record label misinterprets song times? (i.e. the Groove Armada Club Mix is 9:31, but the track listing says that it is 9:29.) Thanks.
