Ray Of Light [CD-Single] Track Listing: 1. Ray Of Light 2. Has To Be
Ray Of Light [CD-Single] Reviews: Worth it worth it worth it! 2007-10-10 - This CD is the US pressing of the single "Ray Of Light" from the full length album of the same name. What makes this release so special is it is the only place you can find the B-Side track "Has To Be". -That is, unless you fork over the dough for the Japanese pressing of the "Ray Of Light" album, which includes the song as a bonus track.
Fantasic 1999-09-09 - I've always loved Madonna,. But I was totally blown away with this track. You can see that they have spent endless time and talent anaylising the entire production (as this with the ablum too) It really projects whats going on with People and Life now its coming to the end of the decade and how we've progressed, No-one will ever come up to Maddies inteligence and be able to tune in to what people are thinking and feeling. Fantasic dance mixes too, I want the Video!!!
She's finally come home... 1999-05-21 - The Ray of light singles (three editions here in Europe) was by far the best singles I bought last year. The single bonus-song, Has to be, is really beautyful and the dance-remixes on the two maxi-cd's just sets the dance-floor on fire! It was my favourite release last year (and as a dj, I buy alot of singles) and I really think YOU should buy ROL NOW! My rating? Silly question, five stars, what else?
"Ray Of Light" maxi-single shines in ClubLand 1999-01-15 - By far the best club tracks of 1998. With remixes by William Orbit, Sasha, and Victor Calderone, this EP topped Billboard's Dance/Club playlist. She chose 3 popular DJ's to redo her "Ray Of Light" song, and they bring this rather mainstream pop tune further underground into the techno underworld. (Elitist Fatboy Slim declined collaborating with Madonna). The Ultra-Violet mix is actually the best and longest track, 10+ minutes of pure electronica bliss (complete with synthesizer backwash and 135 bassbeats and bleeps a minute), with Calderone's reworking coming in 2nd.
More, please! 1998-11-28 - This single had the songs 'Ray of Light' and 'Has to Be' (a song not on the whole album). I never really fully enjoyed 'Ray of Light', but the song 'Has to Be' is pretty good and should have been included on the album.
