Better then the Album. 
2009-09-19 - I was shopping in London when I came across this EP. I Can't tell you how happy i was to find it. I'd been looking for this one 4Ever. Anyways the price was a bit steep at £12, but i bought it anyway. I'd happily pay it all over again for this album.
If i had to choose between the "Like A Prayer" album or this "Remixed Prayers" Ep I would choose Remixed Prayers because it is better by far. To be honest I found the album versions of "Prayer" and "Express Yourself" bland and boring. But this album has many different versions on it and is much more exciting.
I Won't go into a long Track by track listing, because so many reviewers have already done that. My faves are The "12 Extended Mix of "L.A.P." (this version is an extended version of the Music Video). Many people mistake the album version for the video version but this is wrong.
Another one of my Favourites is "Express Yourself (Local Mix)". This is the Music Video Version, and makes the album version look very bland. This version is 1000x better. More Base. More Choir. More Power.
The "12 Dance Mix" by Shep Pettibone is also very good.
In conclusion $13 may seem expensive, but the reason for that is this ep is a Japanese release only so its very rare. if youre a fan of this song, you should not be without this EP. Spend the money and BUY IT. You will not be disappointed. Much better than the Album.

shep pettibone was the most-sought after remixer of the 80's...
before the two collaborated in "vogue" in 1990, shep was remixing most the songs of madonna, starting with 1986' true blue!
when madonna released the album and single "like a prayer" critics praised both song and album as the artist's "most serious undertaking" in her career...
with the controversial video accompaying the spirutally-vague track, shep was able to remix the song, enhance it and bring out its hidden beauty! voila! madonna's 12-inch remix of like a prayer is yet to be equalled by remixers and composers alike. while the madonna of the 90's and the millennium are great, this 1989 classic remains a special collaboration between the two icons!
buy it: if you wanna hear "like a prayer" in a different light - smoothly textured with a dance beat as compared to the original version's pop-rock mix.
avoid it: if you're stuck with madonna's teeny-bopper image.
madonna has always been about change, evolution, the next level of creativity - as proven by the longevity of her career...
surely, "like a prayer" shall remain as one of the queen's best tracks, and in its remixed form, the great song becomes even greater!

Sorry, I made a mistake
2006-06-01 - This is NOT the first time a Madonna remix was over 8 minutes. I made a mistake; the first time was in 1987 for the "You Can Dance" album with an extended mix of "Into the Groove" clocking in at 8:26. I should've known, since I have it on my iPod! This is the first time a M remix was over 9 minutes! still a great mini-album.

2006-02-21 - Remixed Prayers is an awesome miniCD. I think this is also the first time a Madonna remix was over 8 minutes (Stop & Go Dubs-10:52). The cover was done by Madonna's brother. BUY IT TODAY!!!!
