Maddie Hayes, a wealthy former model, discovers one morning that her business manager has stolen all the money she has in the bank. However, it turns out that she still owns some nonliquid assets -- money-losing companies which were maintained as tax write-offs -- one of which is a detective agency run by David Addison. Maddie meets with him to inform him that the company is to be shut down, but he persuades her to keep it open by convincing her that the detective agency can make money. Maddie becomes David's new boss and accompanies him on adventure after adventure. While their personalities clash, a sexual tension arises in the time they spend together. But the question always remains...will they or won't they?

2009-05-14 - Arrived fast, mint new condition--very happy with this purchase. Funny series that all ages can enjoy, with silly and clever humor.

2009-02-09 - The whole Moonlighting series is worth owning. Season 4 is ultimately weaker than seasons 1-3, but still very enjoyable.

Very Dissapointing 
2008-12-12 - This season of Moonlighting was extremely disapointing. The writers took the story in a direction reminisent of a soap oppera. It lacked the fun interaction between the charicters and had very few cases to add freshness to the story line. I am planning on reselling my copy because it is not even worth watching a second time.
Weaker Moonlighting is Still Superior!
2008-10-26 - Moonlighting is one the greatest shows ever created. It was so new and different that the principals just couldn't control it well. Take into consideration two volitile stars and two pregnancies. Cybill's was with twins so it took her out of the show for most of the season. Still it is a wonderful show and even a slower season is a great season. I appreciate the fact that all the DVDs came out and are available on the market. I personally don't feel that I ever loved a TV show more. There was something about the connections of the two (four) stars that is caring and special. Never has a show eluded so much warmth and love despite the craziness that was happening on the set. This is not a bad season and it kept moving no matter what. The finish is strong and the last few episodes bring the show back up to what it was.
the moonglow is dimmer, but Season Four still spells success
2008-06-12 - MOONLIGHTING started to stumble during Season Four, arguably it's weakest season in terms of writing and overall performance standard. Things weren't helped by a long and messy writers' strike, and Cybill Shepherd's offscreen pregnancy limited the number of episodes she could appear in.
The characters of Maddie (Cybill Shepherd) and David (Bruce Willis) consummated their long-held sexual tension during the penultimate episode of Season Three. Given that writers chose to commit the "cardinal sin" of television writing by allowing that to happen, the bulk of Season Four's storylines fell on kooky receptionist Agnes DiPesto (Allyce Beasley) and her unlikely love interest, Herb (Curtis Armstrong). Beasley and Armstrong provide a solid anchor for this season's action, but Willis and Shepherd's screen magic is sorely missed during some of the weaker episodes.
Things returned to normal just in time for the fifth and final season, but fans of MOONLIGHTING should still enjoy this fourth chapter of magic, murder and mayhem.

"Los Dos DiPestos" - Ace secretary Miss DiPesto must solve a mystery of her very own: why are dangerous crooks pursuing her elderly mother?
"Fetal Attraction" - David's decision to prepare for the arrival of Maddie's baby has unintended consequences: he meets a pregnant woman who just might be his perfect match.
"Tracks of My Tears" - As Maddie finally heads back to Los Angeles, she begins to wonder if marriage and fatherhood will change everything that makes David special.
"Eek! A Spouse!" - When Maddie shows up at the office with her surprise new husband, everyone is confused by David's complete non-reaction.
"Maddie Hayes Got Married" - Maddie is frustrated by David's refusal to believe that she's really in love with Walter Bishop...and David offers to pay for a big church wedding so she can prove she means it.
