Crush Reviews:
A Great CD Single 5 Star Review
2004-08-10 - "Crush" was the second single from Mandy Moore's official second album...the gold-certified, "Mandy Moore" (which, by the way, is a good CD). I was lucky enough to purchase this CD single from this company & I do enjoy it quite well. There are four snippets of songs from the sophomore disc; including Moore's zesty & spiritual "Saturate Me" & the acoustic sensation "When I Talk To You" (which is an incredibly emotional track & co-written by Mandy). I do feel that the original version of "Crush" is okay. But, the radio remix of it is MUCH better if you'd ask me. You can find that on the "NOW...That's What I Call Music! (Volume 8).

I've Got A Crush On You! 4 Star Review
2002-03-22 - Following the moderately successful first single "In My Pocket" comes along "Crush". This track is thank god, much more mature than Aaron Carter's "Crush On You" but not as appealing as Jennifer Paige's "Crush" of a few years back. This "Crush" talks about new found teenage love with Mandy singing about having a secret crush on a guy who she is relatively close friends with. This is the Australian edition of the single and it contains four tracks and the track listing is as follows:
1. Crush (Remix) 3.58
2. Crush (Album Version) 3.44
3. In My Pocket (Brandnew Remix) 3.29
4. Album Medley (Turn The Clock Around / Cry / Saturate Me / When I Talk To You) 2.57
The first track is a more enhanced and edgier version of the song therefore having the album version on the single seems rather pointless because there is so little difference between the two but oh well, at least you can tell what the difference is when you have the album version around to compare the remix with. The Brandnew Remix of "In My Pocket" contains beats that sounds surprisingly similar to Christina Milan's recent hit "AM To PM", you'll know what I mean when you hear it because it's so similar and instantly recognizable. Lastly, the last track would probably be the most intriguing as it's a specially mixed album medley containing four album tracks. By I was slightly disappointed in the sense that there was no overlaying between the songs and that they weren't mixed in together. The change is very noticeable as one song stops as the next one starts. Technically speaking, there are only three songs but the last track makes this single a worth while purchase.

Good Single 4 Star Review
2002-02-16 - HI, I'm Brazilian fan of Mandy Moore. This single is great, but i didn't realized the difference between the album version and remix. The Brandnew remix of "In My Pocket" is great, i really liked! :)
And The Album Mixtape is cool too!!

Wow 5 Star Review
2001-12-04 - Mandy's 1st single "In my pocket", the 1st single from her new album anyways, I didn't like too much. But then she released this: "Crush". So many songs intitled "Crush" have been released & this one measures up quite well. Mandy HAS grown up & her music HAS changed dramastically. This single is awesome and features some cool trax including remixes, ect. Expect so much more from Mandy like her new movie "A Walk To Remember" which is getting RAVE reviews. Her 3rd single from 'Mandy Moore' is "Cry" & that song is just soooo beautiful and powerful. Make sure you check out her latest album which is really mature and diverse. It's awesome! "Crush" is one of her best songs & it comes from the heart. Everybody, willingly addmitting or not, can relate to this. (By the way, I love "In My Pocket" now) Lol. Remember, this is not pop, this is the kind of pop that really measures up to be entitled pop.
