Editorial Review:
Sigo Siendo Yo (Still Being Me) is not only the title of Marc Anthony's new hits collection, it's also a reaffirmation of his status as one of Spanish-language music's preeminent voices. The stirring set is balanced with sweeping ballads ("Ahora Quien," "Se Esfuma Tu Amor") and Anthony's true forte--scorching salsa numbers ("Valio La Pena," Tu Amor Me Hace Bien"). Still, everything is vividly enhanced by Anthony's astonshing vocal range. The disc's two new songs are a toss up: "Lo Que No Di" is overblown, overwrought and ponderous. In other words, a likely theme song for some future telenovela. First single "Que Precio Tiene El Cielo" is much better, highlighted by a sweet, slowly building salsa rhythm. Some hits--"Dimelo," "Muy Dentro De Mi"--are equally familiar in their English-language versions but benefit from richer performances en espanol--usually the case with Anthony's material. Also included--perhaps as a sweet bit of foresight--is "No Me Ames," Anthony's 1999 duet with future wife Jennifer Lopez. --Joey Guerra

Sigo Siendo Yo: Grandes Exitos Reviews:
Marc Anthony deserves his spotlight 5 Star Review
2009-10-05 - Whether Marc Anthony sings in Spanish or English, his voice is quite strong and memorable, to say the least. Marc Anthony possesses the clear and exceptional talent to use his voice as a finely tuned instrument; he can sing some of the most beautiful ballads and songs I've ever heard. There are very special numbers on this album; and the quality of the sound couldn't be any better. In addition, I really like that artwork.

"Dímelo (I Need To Know)" was a big hit in English for Marc; he sings this faultlessly in both Spanish and English. The song has a very romantic, passionate flavor to it and I love every second of it. Marc's excellent diction enhances his singing all the more, too. We then get the "ballad version" of "No Me Ames;" this has Marc and Jennifer Lopez delivering this seemingly effortlessly. Of course, we know it really wasn't all that easy; their combined talent easily carries them through. There's yet another gem in the Spanish version of "You Sang To Me;" this is a major highlight of this album and just one listen will tell you why! The percussion is used very well and I love how they play those guitars!

"Tragedia (Tragedy)" has a great beat that makes it another stand-out on this CD; Marc sings beautifully and he never lets go of a single superfluous note! "Barco A La Deriva" (which roughly translates to "A Drifting Boat or Ship") is very well done; this number has a flavor to it that I always enjoy. Great!

"Ahora Quien (Now Who)" shines bright in Marc Anthony's capable hands; the music fits perfectly with his vocals and that's grand. There's the first of several salsa tunes, "Valio La Pena (It Was Worth The Effort);" this has a good sound to it that leaves little if anything to be desired--Marc Anthony's music is all THAT good. "Se Esfuma Tu Amor (which roughly means "Your Love Is Fading")" gets a most passionate treatment from Marc Anthony and the musicians; but wisely the musicians never even try to steal the show away from Marc--he remains squarely front and center which is right where he belongs!

"Tu Amor Me Hace Bien" is another terrific salsa number that has s much energy when Marc Anthony performs it; and listen for Marc to outdo even himself on "Lamento Brincano." "Lo Que No Di" is quite striking; and the CD ends well with Marc Anthony performing a splendid salsa rendition of "Que Precio Tiene El Cielo." It's wonderful!

Marc Anthony never does anything but his very best; and albums like this one prove that he's got incredible talent. I highly recommend this for his fans; and it also makes a fine starter CD for people just getting into the magical artistry of Marc Anthony.

Marc Anthony is amazing! 5 Star Review
2009-08-16 - This cd is great, it made me reminisce all the way to the beginning years of Marc Anthony, it shows how great his music is and how he has grown through out the years in his music. It has something out of all his cd's all in one, it doesn't get any better than that.

Great Voice 4 Star Review
2008-12-14 - I love good music and am learning Spanish. This CD allows me to listen to good music and give me more experience listening to Spanish.

Marc Anthony has a special voice. Generally, I like the Salsa songs best with the great horn sessions. The album does have quite a few ballads including a duet with J-Lo. Still, with a few misses this is great music well worth the purchase for me.

Love it 5 Star Review
2008-09-06 - I just speak very few of spanish..but listen to this CD really blew me away, particularly "ahora quien" made me cry thinking my lost love ..sigh :(
Well, I love all the songs..I used to borrow the CD from public library..and now I am considering seriously to buy it.
If you are reading these reviews I am telling you..don't hesitate..just go get it

Just damn good music 5 Star Review
2008-08-22 - You dont have to speak spanish to enjoy good latin music. Marc Anthony is one of best vocal musicians out there. It makes great music for a candle light dinner with the right lady. I personally recommend it for anyone.
