A Hopeful grammy winner 
2000-10-05 - When I heard this song for the first time, I was sure this was a real winner. Indeed it was!!! Nominated for 8 latin grammy awards.... it is a soothing and touching song and the album contains many more beautiful songs.
Hope it is a grammy winner 2000 - cause it definitely deserves it
You Sang To Me Eng/Span
2000-10-05 - This is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard in a long time. Marc's lilting voice carries the melody and blends with the music for a complete combination of rhythm. Anyone who feels moved by this song should also listen to the full album cut. It's a little different, using the accordian in place of the guitar solos, and, except for the fact that it is in English (I prefer Spanish), it is even more beautiful than the single. Much credit and many compliments should go to the musicians and arrangers also.

2000-08-20 - When I heard this song on the radio when it started getting played in the mainstream, I remember instantly liking it. Musically and lyrically it's a very beautiful song. A bit sentimental, but it just sweeps you away....that's what the tone is like. However, when I finally bought the single (because the airplay dwindled and I wasn't hearing it that much on the radio) I discovered, much to my pleasant surprise, that the "Spangenglish" version is actually much better than the radio edit. The Spanish guitar is lovely and makes the song even more likeable. The tempo is much faster, but doesn't detract from the beauty of the song and only enhances it. If you like what you've heard, definitely get the CD with MUY DENTRO DE MI. Marc Anthony is the true contemporary Latin crossover star . A very talented young man.

2000-08-18 - " You sang to me " , Marc Anthony's recent ballad is undoubtably in my opinion his signature song.
I first saw him performing this song live on tv in one of his concerts and it sounded really good. His voice left an unimaginable ocean of visions and thoughts across my mind and left me spell bound.
The most strongest point about his single is his mystical voice , the music and the lyrics itself. It's a perfect love song for those who are all out of love , and also tells us not to loose hope because True love never dies.
" You sang to me " is not a one hit wonder , It's a Triumphant effort by Mark Anthony who has now reached the league with likes of Latin superstars - Ricky Martin , Gloria Estafan etc. With a hit album and # 1 singles such as " you sang to me " , Marc Anthony is today's hot favorite artist and it's just the start..I'm sure he's going to win our hearts again very soon.
"You sang to me " ..not just a perfect love song ,it's emotionally packed and muscially outstanding. Buy it and you'll know it's got a little bit of extra something to it.

2000-07-27 - The first time I heard Marc sing "You Sang To Me" I honestly thought I had died and gone to Heaven. He made me stand still in my tracks. The way he emotes the words as they come out of his mouth id like liguid gold. To hear him sing the song..is like Heaven. To watch him is ti fall in love with him and his voice. To listen to him takes all the strength out of your being. He knows just how to capture the feeling at the precise timing.He brings you up and lets you down so easily. He is so intwined in his singing he glows with perfection. He has no visiual flaws. I thought when I first heard that he had this new song, yep he is going to be another Rickey. No way. He could never go backwards, or even were he came from Marc is here to stay. I am only speaking for myself, but if the truth were known, I could be speaking for millions of people that hangs back and does note offer any input to something that means so much to them. So, I am speaking for the muted people out there. Keep singing Marc, we all need your imbraceful talent in our hearts. Peace.
