The BEST Christmas album EVER!!!! 
2005-04-03 - Mariah Carey has the most beautiful, powerful, soaringly 7 octave range voice I've ever heard!!! This Christmas CD has been in my CD collection since 1994 when it came out and I listen to it every year. Mariah makes all the traditional songs like Joy To The World, O Holy Night (my all time fav from this album and Mariah's version tops every other version out there ever!!!), Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town and others so beautiful and danceable especially her own song she wrote, All I Want For Christmas Is You (a song that I always find myself dancing to!). Another favorite is one she wrote called Miss You Most At Christmas Time, Mariah's voice soars!!! I also love Jesus, Oh What A Wonderful Child, such a wonderful gospel song!! I actually love Jesus, Oh What A Wonderful Child so much that if I was to sing just one song at my church, it would be Jesus, O What A Wonderful Child!! It's an incredible Gospel song and I love the choir and makes me feel so energized and makes me feel like I'm in church!! It has become my all time favorite Gospel song because I feel and hear so much energy throughout the song and Mariah is so amazing!!!
Mariah's version of Joy To The World is incredible, Mariah really knows how to turn this classic into a dance hit!! I totally love how Mariah made a Club Mix and Celebration Mix to Joy To The World and the music video is awesome too! I love that part in the Celebration Mix when Mariah goes "Gonna Have A Good Time, There's A Party Over Here" and then you hear the Choir singing "Joy To The World, Joy To The World!" I like how she incorporated that one part from Three Dog Night's Joy To The World in "Joy To The World, All The Boys And Girls" and I just love how she is so upbeat and everything!!! If you don't have the CD single of All I Want For Christmas Is You with the Club Mix and Celebration Mix of Joy To The World, I highly recommend you get it because it is well worth it!!
I once let a guy friend I have who is also a Christian like I am, hear Mariah's Joy To The World and his words exactly were "This is a drinking song" and I was like, this is NOT a drinking song!! I don't take things like that seriously because I know Mariah meant no harm to include those few lyrics which also has all three real Joy To The World verses in it, it just made the song more unique and I love it!! Besides, the part "Joy To The World, All The Boys And Girls" fits Christmas perfectly, there's nothing wrong with putting that one part in the classic Joy To The World. Now, if she included the verses from Three Dog Night's song, there would be a problem! Yes, I am a Christian and I honestly see nothing wrong with just incorporating that one little part into the song that just makes it more unique! O Holy Night is by far the best song ever and Mariah's version could never be topped!! Mariah truly has the voice of an angel!!! I also like the remix of All I Want For Christmas that has a mix of hip-hop and R&B. This CD is definitely something I will be listening to forever! The bonus track, that was included on the import of Merry Christmas, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is awesome, I love Mariah's version!
I love this whole CD from beginning to end, all 10 or 11 tracks, depending on which CD it is, over and over again and never get bored!! I love how on O Holy Night, she uses all her octaves and hits that really high note at the very end of the song, it really makes Mariah the best of all time!!! I love Mariah and always will!!!

2000-12-30 - I am not a big Mariah Carey fan, but I like this CD. It was made in 1994, when she was at her peak. The songs are upbeat, slow, Christian and secular, all sung with feeling and produced with good pop values. Mariah makes extensive use of her trademark vocal acrobatics, so look elsewhere if you'd prefer a more traditional presentation. Standout tracks include "All I Want For Christmas Is You" and "Joy To The World".
Clocking in at under eighty seconds, a haunting acappella rendition of "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen" closes out this CD. It's a shame that it was left out of the US release.
A very merry christmas
2000-12-27 - This is surely a great Christmas CD. While most of the tracks are the same from The U.S release it is still a wonderful cd. I would recommend only buying it for diehard mariah fans, otherwise you should get the U.S release. The songs are all sung with spirit from the uplifting "All I want for Christmas is You" to the soulful "Hark the Hearald Angels sing". Three of the songs on this CD were written by Mariah, they are "All I want for Christmas is You", "Miss You Most (At Christmas Time" and "Jesus Born On This Day". This CD is not only a great Christmas CD but a good one to listen to all year long.
