Editorial Review:
The group's hit 1998 album packaged with a full color, CD-sized 20 page comic book in a full color slipcase cover. The album features 14 tracks, including the hit singles 'The Dope Show', 'Rock Is Dead' and 'I Don't Like The Drugs (But The Drugs Like Me)'. 1999 release.
Mechanical Animals Reviews:
German Tour Edition
2000-09-08 - This is actually the German Tour edition which has a hand drawn cover and contains a mini comic of the video for I Don't Like The Drugs... It's interesting if you're a Manson collector like myself but otherwise it's the exact same as the domestic versions.
Extremely cool
2000-09-08 - This is probably Mr.Manson's best piece of work to date. On this album he explores new music territory and he steps forward in the evolution of his music. This album brings to you a new story that is diffrent from Antichrist Superstar tells you. Every single track in this album adds a special element like "Great Big White World" which introduced you into the album which is followed by "Dope Show" a melodic song which is kind of satirical. Other song like "Rock is dead" and "Posthuman" bring you speedy industrial crunchy songs which adds alot to the album and contrasts since the album is more melodic than the last album with soft ballads like "dissasociative" and "the Last day on Earth". After listening to "The last Day on Earth" you go into the Closing track "Coma White" which is a beautifully done and to me one of the best songs ever. After listening to this album your going to want to listen to it over and over again so why wait and order it now here in Amazon.com
