Mobscene/Paranoiac Reviews:
Excallent album 5 Star Review
2003-12-13 - I saw mOBSCENE on tv and the sound of that song made me weak at the knees. I love mOBSCENE. I had already bought the Golden age of grotesque when i saw the mOBSCENE single in the store. I was to tempted so i had to buy it. It was the best purchase i have ever made. even the re-mix of the song Paranoiac is excallent. Many people say its the same but i dont think so. The music is dark and creepy and it puts more feelings into the lyrics. I would hate anyone who loves Marilyn Manson and dosent buy this album.

the album isn't this bad... 1 Star Review
2003-08-02 - 2 songs for a CD single. I paid about 5 dollars for it! The Para-Noir remix Paranoiac sounds almost exactly the same, actually it offers less variety than the real track! 2 songs, no enhancement, no video, no real booklet. RIP-OFF.

love mobscene but... 4 Star Review
2003-05-15 - love this song, but its sounds very close to Faith No More's "be Agressive" anyone else?

Para-noiac, you need me 5 Star Review
2003-05-14 - Fans will want this, most people will not.
I seriously doubt mOBSCENE does amazingly as a single, so most people who are ill over buying a manson cd wont but this either.
With that said i can now comment on the very cool remix of Para-noir. Para-noiac (3:56) Much more Techno oriented than the normal version. Rabid Fans will over course drool over this track and most people will still enjoy the remix. My only complaint is this is such a bare single. Nothing but the two tracks. So the price is certainly right. Fans can compare this to the "The Day The World Went Away" single, but even that had three songs.

We came to see the mOBSCENE! 5 Star Review
2003-05-06 - I don't know what a couple of people are complaining about...this is a really awesome track. I also enjoyed Paranoiac, although I can't really decide which one I like better.

I have already listened to the new album and Manson is really loud, snotty, and mean-sounding, and composed the album with the musical genius he has always shown - all the things that have always made him great. Manson says he has come full circle musically with this CD, and its true. It has elements from all his past albums but is fresh enough to not sound old.

I personally think Golden Age of Grotesque is his best work to date. My personal favorites are Vodevil in which he screams "this isn't music..and we're not a band". (S)aint is also awesome and so is The Bright Young Things. I've already reserved my copy of the CD and I can't wait!
