  • Editorial Review:
Summon your courage, unleash your imagination and prepare for an adventure beyond your wildest dreams. Featuring incredible special effects, thrilling martial-arts action and nonstop adventure, Warriors of Virtue is a dazzling film and "excellent family entertainment" (Paul Wunder, WBAI)! The journey begins when young Ryan (Mario Yedidia), a typical teen, is swept into very unusual circumstances. After an innocent dare goes wrong, Ryan is magically transported to Tao, a beautiful fantasy land whose sole lifespring is defended by the brave, kangaroo-like, kung fu-fighting Warriors of Virtue. But the Warriors may have met their match in an evil warlord named Komodo (Angus MacFadyen) who wants Tao's lifespring for his very own. Can the Warriors stop him before Tao is lost forever? Only if Ryan can find the power within himself to put an end to all the evil.

    Warriors of Virtue Reviews:
Just like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!!! Except... they're not turtles. 1 Star Review
2009-10-31 - Honestly, I don't know how even children could enjoy this movie. It's so boring! The movie starts out in ordinary-land where a disabled kid is harassed by older kids and bullies and gets advice from a guy who is remarkably talented at cooking. Anyways, after being "invited" by the head bully, the kid falls into a whirlpool in a sewer where he magically ends up in the kingdom of Tao(which everyone seems to mispronounce for some reason.). Then he's brought to this village by this weird blond chick who works for this ruler named Kamodo, who acts like he belongs in an insane asylum(His acting like a lunatic is in fact the only enjoyable part of the movie). The movie isn't bad just for being boring though, but the fight scenes are terrible. On the screen they look choppy, poorly choreographed and make it look like you are blinking every half-second while watching this mess. In essence, if you really need to see this movie, just fast-forward to the parts were Kamodo screams and prances around like a gay little pansy.

Warriors of Cheesiness 2 Star Review
2009-09-07 - "Warriors of Virtue" is a hilariously cheesy movie with martial arts kangaroos, a Chinese cook who puts the Iron Chefs to shame, and the most flamboyant villain this side of the Castro. It steals heavily from "The Neverending Story",a mishmash of what might be Taoist philosophy, and even "Tank Girl" when it comes to the warrior kangaroos. As in "Neverending",a nerdy boy battles the forces of Evil thanks to a magic book. Mario Yedida stars as said nerdy hero, Ryan Jeffers. Angus Macfayden, who's apparently done better work, stars as the flamboyant villain Komodo, who has memorable lines like "does purple suit me?"

There's plenty of exposition. Some long scenes are spent in conversation... with some battle scenes thrown in. For a kiddie movie, it's boring. Being boring and sappy are NOT virtues, despite what this movie might say!

Hooray for the Villian! 4 Star Review
2009-07-11 - Had it not been for the lead villian, this movie would have been boring for me. He was crazy, but a little charming as well. The fight scenes were teriffic also. Overall, the movie was okay to me.

I Love This Movie Butt..... 3 Star Review
2009-01-13 - No really, this is a really great movie, but why in the hell did they have to only offer it full screen? Ronny Yu has filled the screen with such flourish that it seems a shame to loose almost everything with the full screen. Really...Ronny Yu, has created a lovely little film(shot in China and financed by a team of rich American Brothers), and t needs to be seen...Full Screen. Or for those of you at home, The widescreen copy. Plus..Big Major Point...It has Kung Fu Kangaroo's.
Now how could you go wrong. And with kung fu choreography by Yen Wo Peng,
this is a really great family movie. Plus it has the great Tom Towles in it. And a big villian, who loves purple. Good Times
    The man is a legdend.

So stupid you have to see it! 1 Star Review
2007-12-10 - I could not remember the name of this movie for the life of me but I googled some key words and I've found it. This movie came out my senior year of college and me and a buddy saw it. It was a train wreck of a movie. People were walking out of the theater. I stayed the whole time just scratching my head at the craziness of it all. I tried to rent it but I couldnt find it. The writer/director/producer must have been on acid when he made this movie.
